Chapter 89 - 7 Heavenly Monuments, Seven Dao Monuments, Million Dao Chart, Xinghe World
The light dots became stars while the lines turned into rivers, forming a vast starry universe.
Captivated, Jiang Ming threw himself in it and swam across the universe. Then, he found that every dot was formed with laws, and every line was the chain of order. Together, they formed nature.
There were also Wood Dao, Fire Dao, and Earth Dao. He also saw the Five Elemental, the Decimation, and the Reincarnation, to name a few.
There were even traces of time here.
A surge of great joy and freedom welled up in Jiang Ming’s soul. The light of Dao was bursting from every pore in his body. He just wanted to keep exploring and roaming in this wondrous space in order to ascend to a higher level.
Suddenly, a light dot twitched and formed into a human figure in front of him.
“Junior Sister?”
Jiang Ming’s eyes shone as a smile appeared over his face. Just when he was about to go forward, he suddenly realized something.
He wasn’t at Chuyang Peak!
“I need to comprehend a type of special ability. I can lose myself here!”
He hurriedly calmed himself down. At the same time, he noticed something.
Although it seemed on the surface that comprehending a special ability was the trial, in reality, he had to watch out so that he wouldn’t get too immersed in the sea of Dao. Otherwise, he would have failed the test.
‘Thank you so much, Junior Sister! You really are my lucky star!’ Jiang Ming exclaimed inwardly.
It seemed to him that half a day had passed. Next, he closed his eyes and calmed his mind. A virtual image of himself had manifested behind him, aiding him in comprehending a special ability.
Suddenly, he flipped his hand, and a wisp of fire appeared on his palm. He formed it into a spear and threw it toward the void.
“Congratulations, Jiang Ming on comprehending a fire-type special ability and passing the third trial!” The voice rang out, pulling Jiang Ming back to his thoughts.
Before he could do anything, the things around him began to fall apart, and by the time he appeared again, he found that he was standing on a platform.
He turned his head around to take in the surroundings. It was a wide area, and his eyes couldn’t register anything no matter how far he looked.
‘Where am I?’
No sooner had the thought surfaced in his mind than a voice erupted.
“Finally! A new friend!”
“We have a new companion!”
“I wonder what world he comes from? What are the characteristics of his world?”
“He doesn’t look like a devil or a demon, and he definitely is not a ghost, a sorcerer, or a vessel. Ah, I get it! He’s a human, the master of all different worlds!”
He heard voices coming around him, but he couldn’t see any of them.
In the meantime, a surge of information appeared in Jiang Ming’s head, and he got a basic grasp of the situation after absorbing the information.
This was the third dimensional space of the Supreme Pagoda, and everyone here was in the Dao Seed Realm.
The center was the resting zone of the platform.
People could choose to stay here forever, and no matter how long one stayed here, it would only be one hour in the world outside. However, the flow of time still had an effect on the essence of life itself.
In other words, when the end of life came, one would die as well.
Fighting was prohibited here, but they were allowed to communicate and exchange knowledge with the geniuses from other worlds.
After ascending into the Nascent Soul Realm, they would go to the fourth dimensional space in the Supreme Pagoda. However, they still needed to go through three trials, and if they failed the trials, the Supreme Order would be taken back, and they would forget everything that was related to the Supreme Pagoda. Besides, they would be forbidden from talking about the Supreme Pagoda in their own world.
Jiang Ming turned his head around and began to take in his surroundings.
On the left side of the platform stood 17 Heavenly Monuments of unknown height, and their ends were covered in a veil of cloud, rendering them indistinguishable. All of them were engraved with the basics of the laws and order of the universe, which could be deciphered by consuming points.
The first Heavenly Monument was glowing with a red radiance, and the fire Dao rhythm was flowing in it. It was the Fire Heavenly Monument. The second one gave off a faint green glow, and Jiang Ming could vaguely sense the aura of vitality. This was the Wood Heavenly Monument.
As Jiang Ming continued to observe the monuments, he noticed that each of them represented different Dao rhythms. There were the Wood, Earth, Metal, Water, Wind, Thunder, Light, Dark, Spatial, Time, Reincarnation, Decimation, Karma, Unlimited, Blade, and Illusion Heavenly Monument.
Behind him was the Million Dao Chart, and he could also earn points from there.
“This is… If I stay here and cultivate, wouldn’t it be…”
Jiang Ming’s heart began to race.
He turned his head around and looked to his right.
On the right side of the platform, there were seven Dao Monuments, all of which were imprinted with the basics of the fusion of the Grand Path, and like the 17 Heavenly Monuments, they were tall, and he couldn’t see their ends as well.
The first Dao Monument had the divine light of the five elements around it. It was the Five Elemental Dao Monument. The second monument was covered in the light of Yin and Yang, and it was the Yin-Yang Dao Monument. There were other Dao Monuments as well, such as the Life-and-Death, the Light-and-Dark, the True Illusion, the Space-Time, and the Chaos Dao Monuments, the origin of the world’s law, and the ultimate Sambodha.
“There is time on the left, and space-time and chaos on the right!”
Jiang Ming was so shocked he did not know what to say.
Even with his system and the Human Paths Record, he had never expected that a place like this existed.
Although it was not the legendary 3,000 Heavenly Paths in the mortal realm, it had surpassed the world’s boundary.
One side was a bridge corridor extending up diagonally to a platform. After the platform, it still extended to the next platform until it was lost into the depths of the sky.
This was the Heaven Battle Stage. One could earn points by stepping onto the battle stage and engaging in battles.
The other side was a staircase made of white jade that extended into the horizon. This was the Heavenly Ladder. One could climb the ladder to accept trials and earn points.
He turned around and looked back.
There was a sky where the vast majority of it was hidden from view. Even though only a small part of it was visible to Jiang Ming, he was confident that it was a lot larger than the monument that gave him the trials.
This was the Million Dao Chart, and one could obtain points by studying it as well.
“Marvelous!” Jiang Ming exclaimed. He took a deep breath and calmed himself down. He then looked sideways, and he saw a few couches and desks.
‘Couches?’ Jiang Ming’s eyes glowed slightly.
Five people were sitting on the couches. Three of them were men, while the remaining two were women. The men had good-looking faces and imposing auras, while the women were pretty.
When they noticed that Jiang Ming was looking at them, they bobbed their heads in greeting.
One of the young men in black combat gear, boots, and a sword on his back came over and said in a very enthusiastic manner, “Do you feel surprised and amazed?”
“Yes!” Jiang Ming nodded. “All of you come from different worlds?”
“Yeap,” The short-haired young man replied as he invited Jiang Ming to sit with them.
Jiang Ming walked to the couch and noticed that several other people were special.
“All of us come from different worlds, different civilizations, different races, and even have different cultivation backgrounds,” the short-haired young man said as he poured a glass of red wine for Jiang Ming. Then, he continued. “What a fate for us to meet each other across the world. Brother, let me make introductions. I’m Luo Heng, and I’m a human from the Xinghe World.
“Guang Rui, an angel from the Guangming World.
“Ye Qingxian, a human from the Zhantian World.
“Aurum, an elven prince from the Great Forest World.
“Liu Yuan, a plant lifeform from the Boundary Sea World.
“How about you, Brother?” Luo Heng asked after he had finished introducing the rest of the people.
The remaining people were waiting for his answer as well.
While Jiang Ming was listening, he also checked their information through the Human Paths Record to see if everything Luo Heng said was true.
‘Luo Heng, a human, male. His strength is equivalent to that of a martial artist in the Dao Seed Realm, and he comes from the Xinghe World.
Relationship: 55
Innate Talent: Immortal
Status: The human race is indeed the strongest race across so many worlds! Here comes another one!
The information for the rest of the people was about the same, save for Aurum. His name was too long, so Luo Heng did not tell Jiang Ming his full name.
‘Well, since all of us come from different worlds, there’s no need for me to hide anything from them,’ Jiang Ming thought and whipped up a smile. “I come from the Tianyuan World. You can call me Jiang Ming!”
“Brother Jiang, let’s toast to our fate!” Luo Heng said.
The rest of the people picked up their wine glasses and drank them in one go.
“Brother Jiang, have you ever heard of this place before?” Luo Heng asked.
“Nope. I obtained the Supreme Order by accident, and I was here after activating it.” Jiang Ming shook his head.
“Just as I expected,” Luo Heng replied, “I got the Supreme Order very early. I was in the first level when I first came here, and it took me quite a long while to reach the third level. I met many people at the first level. They were all from different worlds as well, and there was no news of the Supreme Order circulating in their respective worlds. The more I learn about the Supreme Order, the more I admire the owner of this place.”
He had come across hundreds of people on the first level, and he also noticed that only one person in each world could get the Supreme Order. Unfortunately, he had only bumped into one person he had known before after he came to the second level.
He also told Jiang Ming that the world he was in was a combination of technology of evolution. Technology allowed some objects to fly in the sky and travel through the universe. People could even communicate face-to-face with each other while being hundreds of millions of miles apart.
As for evolution, it was the evolution of the physical body. Ultimately, they would cultivate the cosmic force and understand the laws of the universe.
“Although different worlds have different cultivation methods, they all come from the same root,” Luo Heng concluded.
Then, he took a tablet out and began introducing his world to Jiang Ming. Jiang Ming’s eyes were glowing with excitement as he thought, ‘Finally! My boring days have finally come to an end!’
Although the tablet was small, it had the whole world in it.
“Unfortunately, we don’t have an internet connection here, but don’t worry. I’ve downloaded many things in advance. I have a lot of movies, portraits, novels, and many more here. At my place, it’s the era of the knowledge explosion,” Luo Heng said, grinning from ear to ear. “I’m pretty sure that cultivation isn’t the only reason the Supreme Order brings us all here. This is a platform for cross-border exchange. If you can make use of it, you’ll gain a tremendous amount of fortune. What do you think? Do you want to get it?”
He waved the tablet in his hand.
“It’s cheap,” he said while grinning like a Cheshire Cat.
Jiang Ming rubbed his hands……
