Chapter 486: What Did You Steal?
He pursed his lips and remained silent.
By not denying it, he was admitting to it. Fang Xinxin saw that Butler Zhao had returned from his chores and was standing guard outside the living room. She gestured for him to come in.
Butler Zhao stepped in and took the initiative to say, “Miss Fang, this subordinate has cancelled the orders to take Liu Ping’s life.”
She nodded slightly and reached her left hand out. “Lend me your phone.”
Zhao Cheng glanced at her. She was seated on the young master’s lap and was leaning completely into his embrace. She did not appear graceful whatsoever.
He had some opinions against this but did not express his opinion. Instead, he reached for his phone.
Bai Qinghao’s stern gaze stopped him. He indicated the butler to back away.
Zhao Cheng was confused. Nonetheless, he obeyed.
“Hey, why are you unwilling to even lend me your phone? You’re so stingy!” She grumbled.
The butler was also helpless. What could he do when the young master denied him permission? He did not have the courage to go against his young master’s orders.
Fang Xinxin tried to stand up from Bai Qinghao’s lap but was forcefully tugged back. He asked her heavily. “Where are you going?”
“I’m going to borrow someone’s phone and read your post.” She spoke as though this was obvious.

“You’re not allowed to look at it.” He demandingly commanded.
She frowned in confusion. “Why are strangers allowed to read it, but not me?”
“I didn’t write the comment for you to see.”
“.……” What sort of reason was this? She put on a cold expression. “I’m angry now!”
He was unmoved. His cold, stern expression did not change and the aura around him remained heavy and powerful.
She did not falter against it. She leaned close to his ear and whispered. “If you make me angry…… I’ll take back your ‘benefits’ for the upcoming week.”
“That’s simple. I’ll have the butler take away Liu Ping’s life.”
“You!” She was angered. How was she so firmly held within his palm?
Since Fang Xinxin had promised to let Liu Ping off, she naturally would not go back on her words.
She took in a deep breath and forced a smile. “My dear, I didn’t say anything just now. The benefits will proceed as agreed.”
He lifted his dark brows and his gaze was as sharp as knives. “Is this such an easy matter? The only people who dare to go back on their words before me are all beneath.”
“Beneath what?” she questioned.
His subordinates likely wouldn’t have the guts to do this.
“The ground.”
“.……” Alright, she understood.
They were all dead.
She did not wish to die. She widened her eyes and shot him a flirtatious look. “I’ll give you a little compensation?”
Her coquettish look thoroughly melted his heart. On the surface however, he appeared unfazed. “That’s not enough.”
She was stifled with anger.
“No.” He shook his head directly.
She held her waist in anger. “What do I have to do then?”
He held her waist tightly with one hand. His demanding yet frigid gaze held her in place as he said heavily, “I want you to cooperate with me enthusiastically for the upcoming week!”
“Fine, fine, fine,” she would agree to it for now.
He finally let the matter go.
Her gaze shifted amongst the bodyguards who were patrolling outside the living room. She deliberated over whom she would ask for a phone from later.
He seemed to have seen through her thoughts and said indifferently, “It’s no use racking your brains over it. No matter whom you ask, the result will not change.”
Without his permission, would they have the courage to lend her their phones?
Her gaze shifted onto his frigid expression. She pouted and insisted. “I want to look at your post no matter what!”
“There’s no need!” His expression was stern as though there was no way of negotiating this.
All of a sudden, Fang Xinxin took the initiative to kiss him.
A hint of astonishment flashed past his eyes.
