Something had happened to Corea, the country that had become the world’s military and economic power by surpassing the U.S. at the end of the war in East Asia, and it would shake up tensions for the entire nation.
Kim Jong-un, the leader of the Democratic People’s Party of North Korea, who had been unconscious for 8 years in the hospital from the Pyeong-yang terrorist bombing on August 15th, 2015, had regained consciousness.
News quickly spread through every press agency to the world, and many nations had broken the news immediately to their citizens. Many news outlets were debating whether Kim Jong-un’s recovery would harm or aid the now unified Corea using their own data.
The Corean broadcasting systems also reported about Kim Jong-un non-stop and many panelists from news channels discussed the effects his recovery would have on Corea’s future to garner views.
All eyes were on Kim Jong-un’s recovery both domestically and internationally. Thanks to the highly developed medical technology, his recovery was fast and he almost seemed to be back in full health and able to do everyday activities.
China which had been split into three nations after the minorities gained independence, Japan that had been in an economic depression after its defeat in the war, Russia which was looking for a chance to overtake Hokkaido, and the U.S. which wanted to regain its top place in the world, all started to move after seeing this as an opportunity.
No one knew what unified Corea would do against the nations that were making suspicious movements since the war was over, and what Kim Jong-un would do to affect Corea’s future.
