Chapter 1246 Fallen for the Triplets
The triplets were chubby and round. Even if it was Qiao Nan, who was the shortest in the Zhai family, they still had to look up to take a good look at her. The two persons in front of them were much taller than their mother. In the eyes of the triplets, they were simply giants.
“Grandma!” San Bao, who was the quickest in learning how to speak, shouted at her grandma in alarm. She shrieked and kept calling out for her grandma.
She knew that when her mother was not around, her grandma had the final say. If she encountered any problems, she would grab hold of her grandma’s thigh and cry to her for help.
“Is this San Bao? You are my sweet darling.” Zhai Hua was overjoyed at the sight of San Bao. She was chubby and round and she wore a plain cotton thin dress. She walked forward and gave San Bao a big hug. She took in a deep breath. Yes, San Bao still smelled of milk. It was the best smell ever.
“San Bao, the dress is so pretty. Who bought it for you?”
Zhai Hua loved how San Bao looked in her dress. San Bao had fair and tender complexion, while her dress was a pale shade of dark blue.
The cotton material of the dress added a plain touch to the dress.
Because it accentuated San Bao’s fair and tender skin, it seemed to glisten under the sun.
Zhai Hua loved it that her dress had the design of a Chinese traditional costume. The lapels overlapped each other and two small ribbons formed half a butterfly knot on the front.
\r \r \r
There was a bright red string on San Bao’s thick neck. Her neck was almost as thick as her thigh.
Zhai Hua, who behaved like a ruffian, tugged at San Bao’s lapels to reveal a bright red undergarment that she wore beneath her dress. She looked so charming in that outfit of hers.
“Bad. Release, release. Wa……” San Bao was frightened by the person in front of her. She shouted at the top of her lungs, calling Zhai Hua as a bad guy and telling her to release her. San Bao, who was impatient, did not give Zhai Hua time to react. She noticed that Zhai Hua still held onto her, and she cried out in anxiety and fear. “Grandma, grandma, bad, bad. ” Grandma, a bad guy was trying to take San Bao away.
Da Bao and Er Bao behaved like two little cubs. They glared at the person who was holding San Bao. They looked grim and they clenched their fists, charging toward Zhai Hua, not bothering to waste time talking to her. They gave ‘punches’ to Zhai Hua from all sides, forcing the bad guy to let go of their sister.
“Brother.” Her brother was brave to protect their sister. San Bao shouted to her brothers for help. She did not want to be taken away by the bad guy. She wanted her mama.
“What’s wrong?” Miao Jing, who just had left the triplets seconds ago to go to the kitchen to bring warm water for them, rushed out from the kitchen when she heard the cries of San Bao. Her heart ached for her. “San Bao, who bullied you? Tell me……”
Miao Jing was stunned momentarily when she realized that the person who held San Bao in her arms was Zhai Hua. “Both of you are back.”
Zhai Hua smiled. She was about to tell her mother that she missed her when Miao Miao acted like a shrew and snarled. “Such a brat. You are already so old, yet you dare to bully San Bao, and you still call yourself a woman. Put San Bao down right now. Pass her to me!”
San Bao had been frightened to tears. Looked at how she was crying.
“Grandma!” The triplets felt emboldened at the sight of their closest kin. They knew that the two bad guys would not take San Bao away. Their grandma would be able to drive the bad guys away and snatch San Bao back.
Miao Jing put down the water in her hands. She seemed like the tigress who was about to snatch the cubs from the enemies. Zhai Hua took a few steps backward in shock. To the triplets, it was as if Zhai Hua was unwilling to return San Bao to Miao Jing. San Bao was nervous and she kept kicking in Zhai Hua’s arms, her hands reaching toward Zhai Hua’s face.
“Oh, my goodness.” Zhai Hua felt pain on her face. She realized belatedly that her niece had been in shock and she was really crying. She was not pretending. Her niece was too heartless. How could she forget her and want to hit her?
Miao Jing made use of the chance while San Bao was fidgeting to snatch San Bao from Zhai Hua. “San Bao, be good. Grandma is here. Don’t cry. You won’t look pretty if you cry.”
“Grandma.” San Bao buried her face in Miao Jing’s shoulder, looking as if she had had a bad fright. She sobbed before she was reminded that she had forgotten about something. She turned to look at Zhai Hua. “Grandma, hit, hit, hit.” San Bao raised her chubby arms and made a move to hit in the air. She wanted Miao Jing to take revenge and hit the bad guy to retaliate on her behalf.
“Hahaha……” Miao Jing was thrilled that her granddaughter who would turn one year old soon was so smart. She knew that one must take revenge. “Sure, your auntie is too much. She should not have frightened San Bao. The auntie is such a bad girl. I will take revenge on your behalf.” With that, Miao Jing patted Zhai Hua lightly. She did not really hit her. In fact, she was merely dusting the dust off Zhai Hua.
“Auntie?” Now that she had taken revenge, San Bao was not one who bore grudges. She no longer shunned Zhai Hua like before. Instead, she was interested in the ‘auntie’ that her grandma was talking about.
Initially, Zhai Hua felt aggrieved that her mother favored the granddaughter over her daughter. But then, San Bao made baby sounds and wrongly pronounced ‘auntie’ in front of her. Zhai Hua felt invigorated as if she had taken the tonics. She looked radiant and energetic. “San Bao can talk and she can say the word ‘auntie’!”
Miao Jing felt very pleased. “You may have missed it, but other than ‘auntie’, San Bao called me ‘grandma’ several times just now. Nevertheless, San Bao pronounces ‘mom’ most accurately.”
San Bao was at the development stage where she would be able to say one word by one word. The Zhai family had taught San Bao how to greet the elders at home. San Bao remembered what they taught her, but she was unable to make a connection or use the greeting on the correct person.
Apart from correctly calling Qiao Nan as her mother, Miao Jing took two to three months to teach San Bao to remember that she was her grandma.
Since San Bao started learning to speak when she was eight months old, Miao Jing would stay by her side and taught her how to speak the word ‘grandma’.
Da Bao and Er Bao stood on each side of Miao Jing, grabbing onto her trouser leg. They seemed to be in a confrontation with the two strangers in their house, forming an alliance to protect their grandma and sister.
Da Bao and Er Bao were chubby and round. They were still babies, yet they acted as if they were guardians, protecting Miao Jing from harm. Everyone was amused by their behavior.
To Miao Jing, who had fallen head over heels for the triplets, Da Bao’s and Er Bao’s behaviors were not foolish and stupid. Instead, Miao Jing was moved by their actions.
1247 Hit Their Father
She could tell that Da Bao and Er Bao loved her very much. “Da Bao and Er Bao are so capable. The two of you are able to protect grandma and San Bao. You are amazing.”
Da Bao and Er Bao puffed out their chests, making a tighter grip on their grandma’s trouser leg.
Zhai Hua’s expression darkened. “It turned out that the triplets took me as an outsider and a bad guy.” Zhai Hua finally understood that the triplets had misunderstood her. Zhai Hua felt wronged.
Someone else had a fate worse than her.
In order to feel better, Zhai Hua moved aside, pushing Zhai Sheng, who stood behind her, forward. “If I am a bad guy, what about him?” She spent a lot of time to take care of the triplets when they were still a few months old. She held them as they urinated and pooped, and she watched as they grew up.
To her surprise, she was only away for four months and the triplets had taken her as a stranger and a bad guy.
Zhai Hua felt as if she was struck a million times and had died due to serious injuries.
Miao Jing, who felt smug, was conflicted and embarrassed at her daughter’s words.
Hua Hua had indeed spent quite a lot of time taking care of the babies whereas she and the auntie only spent slightly more time than Hua Hua did with the triplets. Despite that, the triplets could not recognize their auntie. Their father barely spent any time with them. It would be a miracle if they could recognize their father. If so, they must be geniuses.
Zhai Sheng, who kept his silence, glanced at Zhai Hua. He knew that she was making use of him to feel better. He took one step forward with his long legs and walked toward Da Bao and Er Bao,
\r \r \r
The triplets had grown up to be healthy and strong. They were chubby and weighed more than ten kilograms.
Ordinary folks like Qiao Nan would be able to carry one of them at a time, but she would not be able to carry the baby for long. If she were to carry two babies in one go, it would be killing her. Qiao Nan had to go through training to become the muscle babe before she could accomplish that.
It was different for Zhai Sheng. He was a man and a soldier. He had physical strength and stamina. The elites in the army were not his opponent, let alone women and ordinary men.
Da Bao and Er Bao might add up to a total of thirty kilograms. But Zhai Sheng was able to carry them steadily each in one arm without the slightest frown.
Da Bao and Er Bao opened their mouths and grabbed Zhai Sheng’s clothes nervously. Da Bao and Er Bao realized right away that their horizons had widened and they had never been at such a height before.
As boys, Da Bao and Er Bao found it very fascinating to be able to stand taller than the rest of them and to have a clear, unobstructed view. They loved it very much. Although it was their house, it was a different experience to look at everything from a different perspective. Da Bao and Er Bao did not mind that a ‘stranger’ was carrying them. They kept turning their heads to take in the views.
Da Bao and Er Bao merely treated their father as a human ladder. Other people present noticed that Da Bao and Er Bao did not shun Zhai Sheng and were having a good time with him. The first thought that came to their mind was that this was the innate bond between father and sons!
“What’s wrong?” Qiao Nan ran all the way back from school. Beads of perspiration could be seen on her forehead and her face was flushed red. She panted as she asked about the situation at home. “The triplets seem to be crying. A-am I too late today? Are the triplets throwing tantrums? Brother Zhai, Sister Zhai Hua, what brings you back home?”
Qiao Nan was anxious when she heard that her daughter was crying. She could not take her time and came running toward the house.
She thought that San Bao was throwing her temper and therefore kept crying.
She had a big surprise when she opened the door. “The two of you are back. Did you just come back?” Qiao Nan noticed that Zhai Sheng and Zhai Hua looked as if they had just come back from the outside. They must have arrived just before her.
“Mom, Mom.” Now that their mother was back, San Bao, who was unsettled, began to make noises. She fidgeted about in Miao Jing’s arms. Miao Jing almost lost her grip on San Bao and dropped her to the ground.
Qiao Nan was worried. She walked forward to carry the chubby girl into her arms. “San Bao, you’re such a mischievous girl. Didn’t I tell you that you must not move about in grandma’s arms? Do you know how heavy you are now?”
If San Bao kept fidgeting, notwithstanding Miao Jing, even Qiao Nan, the mother, might not be able to have a firm grip on her. San Bao was quite strong and heavy.
“Gegege.” San Bao was happy that she was finally in her mother’s arms. She had a sweet smile on her face. Qiao Nan turned softhearted at the sight of her smile. “Mom, Mom, miss, miss.” San Bao kissed Qiao Nan loudly on her cheeks to express how much she missed her mama.
“Mom.”
“Mom!”
Da Bao and Er Bao were anxious. It might be a novel experience to be higher than the rest, but to babies, nothing was more important than their mother.
When they were faced with a fearful stranger, the first person that they would turn to for comfort was the person closest to them.
It was alright that their mother was holding their sister. They could stand by her side and hug her calf.
No matter how Da Bao and Er Bao fidgeted, Zhai Sheng had a firm grip on them.
Zhai Sheng intended to give them a hard time. It was alright that his daughter could not part with the mother as daughters were dainty and delicate. However, Da Bao and Er Bao were boys. Sons should be braver and be able to withstand hardships. They must be tough and strong. They could not learn to be independent if they stayed with their mother.
Miao Jing spent many years in the Zhai family and Zhai Sheng was her son. She knew what the men in the Zhai family were thinking about.
Miao Jing glared at her son to make him stop it. Zhai Sheng curled the corners of his lips and finally squatted down to release Da Bao and Er Bao for them to go to their mother before they started crying
As soon as Da Bao and Er Bao reached the ground, they slapped Zhai Sheng’s strong arms before they turned and sped to Qiao Nan.
They smacked him and turned to run to Qiao Nan in one fluid motion. They were agile and flexible, and one could not tell that they were actually less than one year old.
Da Bao and Er Bao finally relaxed after they had a firm grip on their mother’s calf. They pressed their lips tightly and stared intently at Zhai Sheng and Zhai Hua, the two bad guys!
“Hahaha……” Although Zhai Hua felt upset that she was scratched by San Bao, she felt much better that Da Bao and Er Bao gave Zhai Sheng two slaps. She laughed in amusement at Zhai Sheng.
1248 There is a Bad Guy
Zhai Hua felt like she had taken a stick of ice pop. It was so cooling that she was no longer perspiring. “They are good. Indeed, Da Bao and Er Bao are the offspring of the Zhai family. They are so adept at giving these two slaps. They have their father’s style.”
If Da Bao and Er Bao were sent to the army in the future, she did not even need to worry who would be so blind to bully her two nephews.
Didn’t they see that the ever-victorious Zhai Sheng in the army also had to take slaps from Bao and Er Bao?
These two nephews of hers were simply too wonderful. They could not be any better.
The two slaps that he suffered had consoled Zhai Hua. Zhai Sheng was not pleased about this and pulled a long face. “Do you feel that happy?”
Zhai Hua sat on the sofa and replied happily, “Happy! I was only scratched by my niece while you were beaten by your two biological sons. Although Da Bao’s and Er Bao’s little fists do not have much strength now, it carries a different meaning.” She would feel at peace as long as Zhai Sheng was more miserable than her.
Qiao Nan rolled her eyes, feeling speechless. While carrying San Bao, she walked slowly toward Zhai Sheng with Da Bao and Er Bao following her by the side.
At the sight of his wife and children walking toward him, the initially sharp and strict look in Zhai Sheng’s eyes gradually turned soft. The cold and aloof winter snow melted and became purling streams in spring.
With the change of the look in his eyes, the triplets, who knew how to pursue good fortune and avoid disasters, did not feel that adversarial toward Zhai Sheng anymore. They were willing to approach Zhai Sheng together with their mother.
Qiao Nan held on to the short little hands of the triplets and guided them to touch Zhai Sheng’s clothes. “San Bao, didn’t Mom teach you before? This is your dad. Call dad.” Having said that, Qiao Nan touched the faces of Da Bao and Er Bao. She also gave the same encouragement to her sons so that they would try to accept Zhai Sheng.
\r \r \r
“No, no!” The little girl shook her head unhappily while constantly drawing in the air with her chubby hands. “Pa, pa……” San Bao expressed that she had a father but her father did not look like this. He looked like that.
Da Bao and Er Bao nodded in agreement. Each time, when their mother asked them to call father, he was not so big-sized. He was very small and they could hold him in their hands.
Qiao Nan did not know whether to laugh or cry. “That was your father’s photograph. This is your father who is real and alive.” Zhai Sheng spent too little time at home. Qiao Nan also did not want the triplets to become too unfamiliar with Zhai Sheng. Hence, she held one of the wedding photographs that they took in the past for the triplets to see and call their father.
Unexpectedly, the triplets’ impression of the photograph was too deep. They did not acknowledge their biological father’s real person and were persistent in rejecting him. “Da Bao, Er Bao, San Bao, look at your dad’s face carefully. This is really your dad.”
The chubby daughter pursed her lips tightly, unhappy. She then wriggled into her mother’s arms. No recognition. No impression. Completely could not remember. Hence, she was not willing to bother.
Perhaps the impact of the earlier hug was still lingering. Da Bao and Er Bao tilted their heads and gave Zhai Sheng a few more glances. Even so, Da Bao and Er Bao stuck closely to their mother and did not take the initiative to approach Zhai Sheng.
Zhai Hua, who came back together with Zhai Sheng, received a similar treatment. The difference was that Zhai Hua had taken care of the triplets for a few months after all. As such, the triplets were friendlier toward Zhai Hua.
After receiving such differential treatment, the direct outcome of this was that Zhai Hua ate two more bowls of rice during dinner!
Both Old Master Zhai and Zhai Yaohui were very happy that Zhai Hua and Zhai Sheng were back. The men of the three generations went to Old Master Zhai’s study room and talked for a long time.
When it was seven o’clock in the evening, the triplets were tired. They started to rub their eyes with their fair and chubby hands as they stuck by Qiao Nan’s side and yelled ‘sleep, sleep’.
When Zhai Sheng, who came out of Old Master Zhai’s study room, saw this, he carried his sons with one hand each and headed upstairs.
Zhai Sheng had carried two of them away. Naturally, Qiao Nan only had to carry her chubby daughter.
The family of five looked so harmonious from their backs. Miao Jing was the only one who revealed a look of worry in her eyes. She felt that it would definitely not be so peaceful tonight.
As the triplets grew, they could gradually express their views. All this while, they had been sleeping with Qiao Nan on the same bed.
Their bed was quite huge, but no matter how huge it was, it was not convenient for two adults and three children to sleep on at the same time.
Each time her son was back, Qiao Nan would either wake up late or her legs were as wobbly as noodles the next day such that she would be very worried for Qiao Nan when the latter walked.
When Zhai Sheng was back the last time, the triplets were still very young and were like three little piglets who would sleep soundly after having their fills. It was unlike now whereby they were awake for longer hours during the day. Basically, they did not have many more hours of sleep than adults.
If her son and daughter-in-law did something, created a huge commotion to wake the triplets up, that scene would simply be too wonderful. Miao Jing dared not continue with the thought.
Besides this, Miao Jing was also having a bad headache about another problem.
Indeed, she was the lady master of the house. Miao Jing’s worry was coming into play in the bedroom at this very moment.
After Qiao Nan wiped the three children’s hands and legs, put on dudous for them, and settled them in bed, they reacted in the same way. Instead of taking the initiative to look for their little pillows, lying on the bed, and waiting quietly for their mama to come back like they did in the past, they sat up one by one.
Facing the stranger on the bed that suddenly appeared, the triplets had a heightened sense of danger. Three babies, three pairs of eyes—they were staring at Zhai Sheng. The triplets strongly intended to scare Zhai Sheng away from the room using the look in their eyes.
During battles and military exercises, amid hails of bullets and cold-blooded and merciless killers, Zhai Sheng had never retreated a step out of fear. Now, he was just facing three feeble and weak babies. Although the other party was bigger in numbers, as the father, would he be afraid of his sons and daughter?
Three children that refused to give up and one father who loved his children unconditionally.
These three children and one adult were staring and glaring at one another in a cross-eyed manner. None refused to take a step back. They were watching each other like a hawk, with the strong intention to chase the other party away from this huge bed.
When Qiao Nan came out of the restroom after washing up, she bumped into this funny scene. “What are the four of you, father and children, doing? Are you competing on whose eyes are bigger or smaller?”
“Mama!” San Bao’s eyes lit up as she pouted and reached out her short hands toward her mother.
San Bao expressed that there was a stranger at home and she was scared. She needed her mother’s love, hugs, and kisses. Also, could her mother quickly shoo this stranger out of the house? San Bao was feeling scared.
1249 Competing for Bed Space
The little girl was hiding in her arms. After burying her face in it, she was not willing to look up again. It was as if her biological father was some evil monster or bad character, so frightening that she had to hide.
Da Bao and Er Bao maintained the same attitude as when they were downstairs earlier. Together with their younger sister, they were bound by a common hatred for the enemy. They would guard against Zhai Sheng.
As soon as their mother sat down, Da Bao and Er Bao consciously moved their chubby little buttocks and sat beside her. Their hands were tugging at their mother’s clothes. This was the only way that they could gain a sense of security before this stranger.
“Be good. Didn’t Mom tell you that this is your dad?” Qiao Nan felt tired. She did not fall behind in both her studies and taking care of kids. She had been traveling to and fro home and school every day. Although she had designated vehicles to send her and did not need to squeeze with others via public transport, this kind of life was also quite tiring. “Da Bao, Er Bao, San Bao, goodnight. All of you are feeling tired too. Keep Mom company and sleep together, okay?”
Qiao Nan was aware that by this time, the triplets should have been snoring and sleeping like piglets based on their usual routine.
If they had not found their biological father unfamiliar, they would not have kicked up a fuss and hung on until now. They would have long fallen asleep.
After hugging the soft and milk-scented bodies of the three children, Qiao Nan could not take it anymore. She lay down and patted on the position beside her. “Da Bao, Er Bao, San Bao, let’s sleep.”
San Bao’s eyeballs swirled. As usual, she was occupying the place closest to Qiao Nan. When San Bao lay down, Da Bao and Er Bao positioned themselves beside their younger sister. When Qiao Nan reached out her hands, Da Bao and Er Bao grabbed Qiao Nan’s clothes and fingers respectively.
The mother and children maintained this state during their sleep.
Initially, the three children would fall asleep within seconds that they hit the bed.
Today, it was most probably because Zhai Sheng had been standing in the room and did not seem to be leaving. The exhausted triplets rubbed their eyes from time to time and insisted on keeping themselves awake, staring at Zhai Sheng. The alertness in their little eyes did not reduce at all.
\r \r \r
At the sight of the triplets’ persistence, Qiao Nan thought of many ways to coax them but to no avail. “.……Not going to sleep?”
San Bao’s small face had been plastered to Qiao Nan’s arms. Her mouth was drooping and she looked very unhappy.
“Alright.” There were no parents who could win against their children in this world. Qiao Nan moved the back of her feet and nudged Zhai Sheng’s body. “Brother Zhai, you have spent too little time with them. The triplets can greet people now, but they are still young and insensible. They won’t understand some reasoning even after I tell them. It will be a little tough on you. Why don’t you help me wash the clothes first? You can get in the bed after they have fallen asleep.”
This was the only solution that she could think of.
Clearly, the triplets refused to sleep and forced themselves to be awake due to Zhai Sheng’s existence.
If Brother Zhai was not around, naturally, the triplets would not need to be so persistent. They would sleep like they always did.
He had to be chased off the bed by his wife because of his three children. Very few men in this world would feel happy about this.
However, he was one of the main culprits who created these three little scums. These children did not belong to others. No matter how Zhai Sheng disliked the presence of the children, which affected how he and Qiao Nan got along, he had no way to stuff the triplets back into Qiao Nan’s womb so that they could not keep saying and doing things that would drive him to his grave.
Zhai Sheng pulled a long face as he took the clothes changed by his three children to the restroom to wash them.
Qiao Nan would wash her own clothes. However, she did not have much time to settle the triplets’ clothes. After all, other people in the house could help Qiao Nan share this burden.
Fortunately, the three pairs of short legs of the triplets could walk now. However, to children who had just picked up walking and were not steady in their steps, there was a limit to the distance that they could travel.
As such, they had to change the triplets’ clothes. However, their clothes were not that dirty either. It was not as if Zhai Sheng had not washed any clothes before.
As such, it did not take much effort from Zhai Sheng to wash the triplets’ small clothes. Zhai Sheng had long witnessed clothes that were dirtier and more difficult to wash in the army.
Furthermore, these items belonged to his sons and daughter. As their biological father, which father would shun his children’s things in front of outsiders? Since his wife had given the orders, he would wash them.
Alas, after Zhai Sheng finished washing the triplets’ clothes and came out, the triplets’ eyes were still opened.
Before Zhai Sheng flared up, Qiao Nan spoke nicely and patiently to coax Zhai Sheng, this ‘big child’. “Why don’t you go downstairs and have a cup of tea first? The triplets are exhausted. I think I will be able to coax them to sleep very soon. Come back again after they have fallen asleep?”
The triplets’ attitude was too obvious. As long as Zhai Sheng was still in the room, they would not sleep.
If Zhai Sheng dared to get onto the bed now, the triplets would dare to join forces and shoo Zhai Sheng off the bed.
Given Zhai Sheng’s strength, of course he would not be kicked off the bed by the three children. However, there was no need for the father and children to go to this extent. It would be embarrassing and hurtful. Qiao Nan still very much wished for the triplets to accept Zhai Sheng, this father, and that the father and children could get along well with one another.
If that could happen, Qiao Nan could slack off from time to time when Zhai Sheng was home then. She could let Zhai Sheng take care of the kids while she found more time to study and pick up new knowledge.
Zhai Sheng gave Qiao Nan a look of warning. He was so cooperative now. Qiao Nan also had to cooperate in the same way too when he ‘wanted’ something later.
As expected, Zhai Sheng’s placed his hands on the doorknob, opened the door, and went out.
The serious expressions on the triplets’ face immediately eased. They even let out huge sighs of relief and nudged Qiao Nan. After sighing, they yawned. Without the need for Qiao Nan to coax them, they showed off their capability to fall asleep and slept soundly before Qiao Nan could open her mouth to hum.
Qiao Nan heaved a sigh of relief after the triplets fell asleep. She wanted to get up and call back Zhai Sheng, who had just left the room.
It was such a rare opportunity for the family of five to be able to sleep on the same bed.
Just the thought of that scene made Qiao Nan feel very heart-warming.
Since she had thought of it, she had to do it. Just as Qiao Nan wanted to sit up and go downstairs to call Zhai Sheng, her plan was wrecked by the three ‘little monkeys’.
Da Bao, Er Bao, and San Bao were either tugging at Qiao Nan’s clothes or coming into direct contact with Qiao Nan by her side. It was not so easy for Qiao Nan to withdraw her hands from the arms of her three children.
