Lilian looked at Mike incredulously before continuing.

“It looks like it’s just like what you said. I didn’t expect that we would develop telepathy after practicing this Dual Cultivation Technique!”

Mike replied with a smile after hearing that.

“Hahaha, that’s right. In the future, if we can’t rely on language to communicate under any special extreme circumstances, then we’ll be able to communicate through telepathy, won’t we? Hahaha!”

Lilian continued to ask, “However, now that we have obtained this ability, will there be any side effects?”

After hearing this, Mike had some thoughts in his mind, but he was not in a hurry to answer Lilian’s question.

Instead, he opened his mouth and said, “Lilian, what do you think this side effect will be?”

Lilian saw that Mike seemed to know something, so she opened her mouth and said, “You haven’t even given me any clue. How do you think I can guess it?”

Hearing Liliian’s reply, Mike said, “About the side effect of this Dual Cultivation Technique… Actually, our fates are now closely linked together. In the future, you and I can no longer fall in love with any other people. Of course, that also means that this Dual Cultivation Technique can only be practiced by the two of us together!”

“I see!” Lilian said with a sudden realization.

Mike saw that Lilian’s expression did not look unhappy.

In fact, it seemed that a trace of peace of mind could even be seen. Mike then continued to speak.

“Lilian, why is it that when I look at you, I feel that you’re very happy?”

Knowing that Mike had exposed her thoughts, Lilian spoke indignantly as she blushed furiously.

“How is that possible? Hmph… Being bound to your fate… Just count it as my bad luck!”

Mike looked at Lilian, who was putting on a proud face in front of him and smiled happily.

Thus, Mike continued by saying, “Since we have now acquired such an ability, and not much time has passed, I think we should go and see if the Nameless Saint has recovered!”

“While we’re at it, shall we have breakfast as well?” Lilian said mischievously.

Mike touched his hungry stomach as well and said lightly, “Alright! Let’s set off now!”

Lilian nodded at hearing that. Both Mike and Lilian then walked out of the door.

It was still very early, and the sun had just risen in the sky.

Mike and Lilian, who had just walked out of the room, were attracted by the strong, rich aroma of food.

They soon followed the aroma of the food to the dining hall of the Flower House.

At the moment, not many students could be found eating breakfast in the dining hall.

Most of them were still sleeping in their rooms and had not woken up yet.

Perhaps because the Nameless Saint had not fully recovered yet, all these students appeared to be a little lazy.

They did not look like they were that eager to learn.

Looking at these lazy students, a sense of disgust arose in Mike’s heart.

These students were completely different from the students of Yogmo Academy.

They accomplished what others could only dream of, without going through any tests.

Even after becoming the Nameless Saint’s apprentices, these people had the mindset of only relying on great luck without bothering to cultivate.

So, of course, their attitude would not be much better.

Mike looked at these lazy scholars and then let out a sigh.

Mike and Lilian were queuing at the window, and in a short while, it was their turn.

After a simple order, they took their plates and found a seat.

Many of the students were staring in Mike’s direction.

Obviously, their attention was focused on Lilian.

However, Lilian had not noticed it yet.

Instead, she was minding her own business as she ate heartily.

“It looks like people who practice this Double Cultivation technique feel very hungry!”

Mike said playfully, as he looked at Lilian.

Lilian ignored Mike’s comment and continued to eat her food.

It was then that Ogg excitedly walked into the dining hall and made a loud announcement.

“Everyone, listen to me! The Nameless Saint has completed his final recovery! Right now, he is waiting for everyone in the hall! Everyone, quickly finish your breakfast and gather in the hall! The Nameless Saint has something important to tell everyone!”

Upon hearing Ogg’s words, Mike looked at Lilian excitedly and said, “Lilian! The Nameless Saint has finally recovered! Come on and eat faster! I want to see the true face of this Nameless Saint as soon as possible!”

Hearing Mike’s words, Lilian said in a slightly annoyed tone, “You’ve already waited for so many days. Can’t you just wait for a short few minutes more?”

Seeing that Lilian seemed to be a little angry, Mike continued to speak with a smile.

“I was just speaking casually! I just got a little too excited. Please take your time to eat. There’s no rush!”

Hearing Mike’s words, Lilian finally relaxed her unhappy face and continued to eat her breakfast in peace.

Not too long after, Lilian finally finished her breakfast.

When Mike saw that Lilian had finished eating, he quickly got up and continued to speak.

“Okay! Now you have finished eating too! We can go now, right?”

Lilian saw that Mike was obviously very excited, so she said with a smile, “Okay, okay, let’s go now! I think if I continue to drag this out any longer, you will start to hyperventilate!”

Mike did not take Lilian’s teasing to heart. He merely smiled and pulled Lilian towards the hall that was just outside the door.

Soon, Mike and Lilian arrived at the hall.

The hall was already crowded with many scholars.

Mike was very excited. He wanted to see the appearance of this Nameless Saint that everyone had praised.

He slowly moved towards the center of the crowd, but no matter how hard Mike tried to squeeze through, he could not get through at all.

Just as Mike was feeling overwhelmed, a familiar voice sounded out from the other side of the crowd.

“During the days that I was in seclusion, did everyone cultivate seriously?”

When the students heard this, they started to talk amongst themselves. All of them whispered to each other, but no one spoke out to answer his question.

When the person, whose voice it belonged to, saw that no one was answering, the voice continued to speak.

“By the looks of it, it looks like I will have to increase the intensity of your cultivation in the future!”
