"Well, I would not miss this place," I said as I slowly walked toward the teleportation formation with the teacher and others watching me from behind.
It had been thirty-one days since my treatment began, and I was finally leaving this place. I had never been this happy to leave the hospital before, but now I couldn't stand it and would be staying away for a few days, at least before I stepped in here.
I have extracted 95% of the spatial particles inside me, and the rest, 5%, will be dealt with by the evening with the special formation I have created inside my core.
Teacher and Grandmaster Charline wanted me to stay here for a day more till I am completely healed, but I have no wish to do that. I have missed my family and hope and would like to spend a few days with them before I would go to the front.
I also have a huge backlog of orders I have from the Pyramid for the Pyramid; till yesterday, nearly 95% of rule-bending power had been used to deal with spatial particles.
I stepped into formation and turned to wave four of them; while three of them were smiling, Grandmaster Rwaga still had a shock in his eyes as he looked at the thing in the box I had given him a minute ago.
He had played a huge part in me being alive; if not for his formation, I might as well have been sleeping in the hall of sleep, waiting for someone to heal me.
Soon the formation lit up, and I appeared in the familiar; I quickly walked toward the hall where I saw my father teaching my sister, scolding her now and then when she asked if she could play.
Rose is a smart girl, but she does not like doing homework; like all the children, she would rather play, but she does not get to do that unless she finishes her homework. If my mom had been here, this would have been a little easy since Rose gets the job done when mom makes her scary face.
"Brother!"
Rose spotted me and instantly forgot the homework and came running toward me. "How is my little angel," I said as I took her in my arms. She had grown bigger in two months but was still as cute as before.
She began to kiss my cheeks before I sat down while she began to play with Ashlyn and Nero, telling them all the exciting things she had done.
"This mission of your lasted little long," said my father, "Yes, some complications have occurred, and I had to deal with them," I replied.
I did not tell my father I had been injured, and even though, I had been talking to him. It was mostly in voice calls, and only in the past week did I talk him through the projection.
"The war is getting dangerous by the day; every day, I hear someone I used to know had died. I worry about your mother and you," He said, looking ahead blankly. "We will be fine, especially mom; it is very hard to kill her," I said, to which he only let out a sad smile.
I couldn't help but see my words did not have much effect in elevating his worries. It would have been good if mother had returned, but even after nearly a year, there is no sign of her coming back.
Sometimes, I think the Pyramid is just fooling me, something had happened to her, and they are not telling me. Even professor came back with her secret missions nearly every month, but ever since my father left, she had not come back.
I spent a few hours with my sister and father before I went to my room, and the first thing I did was walked into the shower; I hadn't had a shower in two months.
Though I have cleaned myself with my energy which does a much better job than soap and water could, I still liked to shower for my peace of mind.
I had stayed in the shower for nearly an hour before I stepped out and wore my clothes and walked toward the practice room.
There is a reason why I had walked out of the hospital before I completely healed, aside from it becoming insufferable. I have reached an important stage of one of my most prized projects, for which I had spent innumerable resources that could make even the eyes of Grandmasters red with envy.
In the practice room, I sat down, and the next moment, I was in my core, and in front of me was a metaphysical scan of Leonard.
He had reached where I wanted it to be; with the resources and his own power, he had reached the peak of Master class and now possesses the power at the limit of Master could have, but that is not the most important thing.
The most important thing is his constitution; after feeding it innumerable resources, it had reached the level where I wanted to be, and now I could begin my real experiment.
I feel like I am a farmer who is ready to butcher a pig that I had fattened with great efforts. Even though I have collected a huge amount of data from Leonard and designed the experiment to be as safe as possible, there will be a considerable danger.
A lot of it would depend on Leonard, and I hope he will be able to bear it because there is too much depend on this experiment.
I studied the scan and finished up the last details of the experiment before I sat down on a huge formation in my core.
I had created this formation around twenty days ago and been furnishing it every few days. It is due to this formation and the feather floating in the center of it I was able to get rid of spatial particles so fast, and within a few hours, I will get rid of every spatial speck from my body.
Once I do that, I will be free to focus on my most ambitious experiment, for which I have spent nearly a year preparing.
