"Lady May," I greeted the woman whose projection had appeared in my hospital room. "Micheal, its nice to see you are recovering fast," She said.
"It is all thanks to teacher and Grandmaster Charline," I replied, to which she smiled. "So, what orders does pyramid have for me?" I asked. All my missions were chosen by the Pyramid; they would tell me a place, and I would go there to kill the Grimm Monsters.
"There is no mission or not like the ones you were doing for the past two months," She said.
"We have been too hasty utilizing you, and due to that, Grimms have nearly killed you."
"The Pyramid wants you to lay low for a while, focus on other things like your Inheritance and crystal roses; Grand Commander wants lots of those," She added; there was a smile when she said the last sentence.
"Ok," I said.
I agreed to it immediately; I was not going to recover to my full strength very soon, and I am sure she would have gotten the update of my health from Grandmaster Charline and teacher.
They wouldn't keep me sitting for long; my abilities are unique, and they need it; by the time I will recover, they will have a mission-ready for me.
"Grand Commander also asked me to tell you that your leadership training will begin at the end of this week, and there will be no postponement this time," She said, and I opened my mouth to complain but closed it.
"It is a very important training, Micheal, sooner or later, the day will come where you will have to fill our seats, and this training will be invaluable for it," She said, and I accepted the command with slight reluctance.
A few minutes later, lady May left, and I had dinner with a teacher before I closed my eyes and went back to sleep.
The night passed, and the day came; I had recovered enough that I could be discharged out of the hospital. I directly went back to my home, where my father and sister were already waiting for me. I had told them in the evening that I would be coming in the morning.
I could barely use 1% of my power, but it is enough to clock my weak aura and injuries. I did not tell my father about my injuries; it would just worry him too much, and he has enough on him already.
I talked with my father and played with my sister for a while, and had lunch together before I went back to my room.
Two days passed since I had been discharged from the hospital, and I have recovered quite a bit but far from enough to rejoin the battlefield. It will take some time before I will do that, and thankfully, there are many things for me to do.
I am still two days away from joining the leadership program, where I will spend most of my time for a week or more.
I will try to finish the program in a week, but it will depend on the Grand Command. She is in charge of the program and keeping me there for a week or a month totally depends on her.
Today is an important day; yesterday, I received a surprising call; it was from Camphor. She had called me to witness her breakthrough into the Grandmaster.
The call was quite surprising; I had thought she would wait for a little before making a breakthrough into a Grandmaster seeing it had been only one and half months since I had cleared last of her blockade in the beston Archipelago.
In my opinion, she should have waited for a little; it is not because she had progress to make; no, she had already made all the progress she could, and with her elemental veins, she had gained the power to fight against the Grandmasters.
I only wanted to get more familiar with her veins because once she leveled up, those elemental veins would burst into power. With a breakthrough into the Grandmaster, she would instantly leave behind most of the Grandmasters, who had attained the stage centuries ago.
Her natural talent is envious, and she would be able to use it to a much better degree than anyone else, as this talent is also the reason why she was half-crippled but still shockingly able to reach such a high stage.
Hours passed, and soon, it was time.
Buzz!
I stepped into the teleportation formation and selected the coordinates as I did, the formation buzzed with light, and I disappeared from the formation.
A second later, I appeared in front of one of the treasured places in the whole Pyramid. The hall of enlightenment, or as people call it, the hall of breakthrough.
This place is preferred by many masters who want to make a breakthrough into the Grandmaster class or the Grandmasters making a breakthrough. This place has extremly dense energy, and formations here increse the chances of a successful breakthrough by a few percent.
I have never used this place, not because I was sure of my breakthrough or anything. It's just the formations here are too strong, and if I make a breakthrough here, they will know my true level, which now I preferred to hide.
Click!
I opened the door and walked inside; just as I did, I sensed the dense energy surrounding me. It is three times denser than the general parts of the Pyramid, which is quite a big thing considering the Pyramid already have one of the most energy-dense environments in the world.
A minute later, I opened another door and instantly found quite a lot of familiar people here, both masters and Grandmasters.
Most of these people are from her organization, but there are some who are not; I am a little surprised seeing one particular person here, but seeing the resources around Camphor and his relationship with her, I should not be surprised seeing him here.
