"I would have still liked it if you had made a breakthrough in the supervision of the seniours," He said while casting a small glance at me.
"I will keep that in mind next time making a breakthrough," She said, and the frown on his face finally eased.
"Both of you take the seat; I want all the details of the mission," He said and cast a glance at the screen before turning back to us. I am quite curious about what he is looking at that made him so worried, but screens are made in such a way that person sitting in our position could not see their content.
"We have encountered a Grimm treasure hunting party in the tomb; we have come against them in the final sanctum," Sarah informed as we sat, and a frown appeared back on his face, but he did not seem surprised by hearing it.
"For the past few months, those bastards are appearing everywhere," He cursed before turning to Sarah. "How powerful were they?" He asked.
"Very." She said and began explaining.
"Four Grandmasters, one was at a mid-level while three were at the peak; the one at the peak was very close to High Grandmaster in strength and brought out an ancestral blessing weapon that shot its strength to High Grandmaster," Sarah explained.
This time he was truly shocked, and a second later, his eyes became serious as he looked at us.
"It was a good thing you could get away; even with your advancement, you would not be the match of High Grandmaster; you would be able to defend against one at most," he said to which Sarah shook her head, little unwillingly.
"We killed them,"
"Micheal killed them, each and every one of them," she said, and it is clear by her expression she did not like saying the words coming out of her mouth, but she still said them while, once again, Silus Bishop got shocked.
"I did not know you have advanced to High Grandmaster?" Bishop asked. To that, I shook my head.
"I did not," I replied without explaining further; he opened his mouth to say something, but suddenly his expression changed; he looked at the screen on his left.
"Lord Bishop, what is happening?" Sarah asked a few seconds later when she saw the Bishop was still staring at the screen.
"A battle; we have already lost two Grandmasters in it, including a peak Grandmaster," He said, shocking us.
It is very hard to kill Grandmasters on the open battlefield, especially the peak ones. They are great assets and would always be rescued; both sides hate to lose them and rescue them; if they seem at risk of dying.
This is why before the final battle, most high-level Grandmasters die in runes and realms where they could not be aptly rescued, but now we have lost the two Grandmasters, including the peak Grandmaster.
Ten minutes passed, and we were still sitting in the Bishop's office; his eyes were still glued to the screen.
I am worried and bored at the same time; it would have been one thing if he had let us see the battle, but he is hogging that screen all to himself, and even yes-women Sarah is not like this one bit, but she is not voicing her complain.
"Lord Bishop, I hope you will excuse me; as you know, I have been away for nine days and have some important things to look at," I said, once again making Sarah glare at me.
I did not know why she glared at me; I was quite polite with my words when I had asked to be excused, but it seemed like you could not please some people, no matter what you do.
"Wait," He said without looking that turned Sarah's glare into a mocking smirk.
I did not say anything to his refusal; instead, I just laid back on my chair, and my eyes turned a little hazy as I had put most of my focus on my core.
I have many things to do, like opening the storage of the Grimm Monsters, which I had been able to do since I had been so busy. So, without wasting any time, I begin to open the enchanting resources and begin with the storage of Master class Grimms.
The first storage I opened was that of the peak Master class Grimms who tried to run, which I think was also a rune Grandmaster.
I unloaded all of its storage, and the moment I did, my eyes shone like a sun seeing the sheer amount of books it had. I totally forgot about the two stainless blood-soul lotuses and other treasures I had and only focused on the books.
The amount of books is huge; it is even greater than I had found in the old Foxman, which is surprising considering this is just a Master while old Foxman was a Mid-Grandmaster.
I immediately began to look at the books, thinking they would be subpar, seeing the level of their collector and the sheer number of them, but boy, I had been wrong. Not only these books are amazing, but they also seem to be even better than the ones I had found in the storage of the Grimm.
Most importantly, the majority of them, over 90% of them, are in a universal language which immediately reinforced my view that this bastard had been lucky enough to find some big library.
I have never been such lucky; at most, I found few shelf books, which is not a library, just a personal collection.
I looked at the books in wonder and immediately began to sort them, forgetting everything else. I did not care for the other storage I had to look for and just focused on the books.
"Grandmaster Zaar!"
I did not know how long it passed when I saw heard Silus Bishop calling my name in a louder tone than usual.
"My apologies, Lord Bishop; I had been lost in my thoughts," I apologized. He seemed to have called me several times and was quite angry.
He did not seem impressed by it, and I did not care. It was my mistake, and I apologized; whether he accepted it or not is his business.
"You too are going to gardas prairie as a backup; only take action when you think the human Grandmasters are in danger," He said, and before I could say or ask anything, I saw teleportation formation covering Sarah and me, and a moment later, we disappeared.
Before we disappeared, I saw the crafty smirk in Bishop's eyes which made me curse him profusely.
