Chapter 577 - Dawn Of The End
"Everything going well?" Lilith gently asked, tracing her lips over mine like a glass of aged wine. She smiled and ran her fingers through my bangs that bearly covered my eyes. Warm and enticing to the very touch, a jittery sensation etched slowly down my spine.
"Perfect. The Angels are going mad." I strenuously remarked, wishing nothing more than to lay on a bed and relax. I hated this damn chamber filled with nothing but rocks and a mat. I was a very material person. I love money. I love power. I wanted a jacuzzi, a bed to fit fifty people, the finest jewelry. I wanted everything, not this mundane bullshit.
Trailing off my lips with her plump ones. Only a cold hollow remained. Lilith narrowed her cloudy amethyst eyes and released a strained breath. "Is she coming back now?"
I shook my head, lifting my hand, and tapped in between her brow, revealing everything that happened through the eyes of Freya.
"Now I am jealous. If everything goes right, Seraphina will be in your bed." Lilith mocked, arching her lips in a devilish light that stirred my desire. Watching the jealousy, the pure envy on her lips, I wanted nothing more than this.
"I will leave first, Sene. Get your weapon and armor. Whatever you need." Rising from off my waist, Lilith gracefully flicked her scarlet hair, "I am going to see father, to take some precautions. When I return, it should be the day of the wedding."
I nodded, taking the time to rise on my feet. I half-heartedly replied. "Fine."
Stinging me in between my brow with a swift flick of her naughty fingers, she chuckled childishly. "Cheer up. It's only two more months. I will return through the gates back on Midgard. With an Army."
"Happy hunting," I said, taking her lips as a goodbye. Blushing heavily, she bashfully backed away and left in a bit of a hurry, racing through my chamber walls. I narrowed my eyes with a single goal in mind.
Pushing out of my chambers, a blinding light came crashing down on me. Recalling my early disgust towards the light, I smirked. Hovering over the Sparrows edge, I waited a few more hours before Freya approached me with a cheerful smile.
"You're under investigation, you know. "My lovely knight warned, albeit a little unfounded. I didn't care. "Leaving will land you in hot waters."
"Take me to Yu Lan. It's time." I lightly commanded.
Freya giggled, and I wrapped my arms around her supple waist. Shuttering at my touch, her cheeks brightened.
It was so hard to believe she was like this before. Freya was so cold and a little evil; the changes are almost comparable to heaven and earth.
Waving her hand, I once more saw the Gate of Noctem, or at least what appeared to carry many of its features. Creasing my brow, I frown. Drawing close, I turned to Freya, who shook her head.
"It appeared that day you gave me that Soul Arte. " She reasoned to my confusion.
Touching its frame that held a blackish ashen color. Tunneling into me, a wave of understanding gripped my soul. The Laws of the Abyss and Night both assaulted my senses as I held onto the border of the gate.
The Gate of Noctem was not the most accurate name, but rather the Gate of Abyssal Night. In The Path of Abyssal Night, my Path was feasting on the Dark Laws of the Bed of Chaos. There Gates of Noctem is no more.
"Will I also destroy Noctem this way?" I muttered, confused by what it meant to be the Monarch of Darkness.
Dismissing such thoughts. The Gates of Abyssal Night shot open, revealing an infinite swirling vortex of magical nodes. Stepping through without hesitation, I appeared within Yu Lans throne room, staring at me in shock.
"Good to see you again, Lan-Lan." I cheered, shooting the queen a wink.
Lan blushed and glared at me, "Does no one respect me enough to knock? It's not hard, you know."
"And miss you doing something naughty?" I claimed, curling my fingers in a rather seductive way.
Freya, trailing behind me, giggled, "That would be quite a sight. Lan has such a charming frame. Any man would want a piece. Even I want a bit. " THe little lust fiend spouted with a hint of drool.
"Freya!" Lan cried, covering her face.
"Ok, Ok," I uttered, waving my hands, "It's time, Lan. Time for Casia to become my domain."
Yu Lan frowned and glanced at her palace walls with a sad hue. "This land won't be mine anymore, will it."
"No," I answered, "But I will give you a chance—a chance to kill Aiza."
Lan's eyes grew wide like the stars as she gasped, "Are you joking?"
"Far from it. It's almost impossible for you all to kill Aiza, but with the chaos about to commence, I will not be surprised if she is heavily injured. The other founders are sure to be there, but they will be busy with the angels. So do tell the Corrupted Serpent, and if you can find Christofer to show.
"If we cannot kill her, what is the point?" Lan coldly snarled.
"You want her dead, or do you want her humiliated and broken?" I calmly replied, already knowing the answer.
To have a devil heart in one of the Founders, what more can I want?
Cracking a devilishly smile, Yu Lan stared heavenly and slowly nodded. "Fine." She sharply answered, yet her voice was filled with misgivings. "Follow me to the Divine Relic of Casia."
Turning around, Yu Lan approached her throne and bit the tip of her finger. Bleeding over her throne, I waited as a rumbling sensation trembled beneath my feet. The flashes of azure lightning soon began to flicker through the cracks, beginning to show.
Flaring with a powerful force, the hairs over my arm began to rise as the ground itself began to break away like fragments. Climbing into the air, they hovered, revealing a crystal cave where Yu Lans throne was.
"Follow me," She coldly announced.
Complying with her orders, I followed. Heading into the crystal cave, a spring of divinity began to flood my pores. However, no matter what I did, such divinity was not mine to take. Tempting me with its lustful glow, my eyes narrowed, turning a deep shade of scarlet.
Walking through the caves, the echoes of our footsteps were like music to my ears. I had long assumed that Alos was covered by starships by the many gods, including the Court of Nox. The angels were all trying to find me, and then there were the devils plotting away.
I had so many enemies but very few true allies. Allies that I can trust with my life. However, as I stepped towards the end of the Crystal Hall, I knew a new beginning was coming.
Everyone assumes the war of Devils and Angels will take precedent. However, my War with Nox started first, so did my battle with the Angels.
Holding the elegant saber of pure crystal hovering over an azure crystal lake with a radiant glow that could blind the stars, I chuckled.
"I win"
