Qin Ruo’s support was perfect—not only was he able to perceive that the Twelve Zodiacs members had to protect their Radiant Priest and Mu was unable to take the initiative, but he was also able to predict that the presence of both Field Commanders Saga and Camus on the battlefield would make their party overconfident.

  His party besides him—the Bandit, Berserker and two Bowmasters quickly assumed their battle position and surrounded Slayer’s Heart from each side……

  Each person on the battlefield was a Twelve Zodiacs elite, putting tremendous pressure upon Slayer’s Heart.

  Slayer’s Heart, however, was unfazed as he continued to charge toward the uneasy Radiant Priest who was still in the process of casting his Resurrection, fully ignoring Saga and the rest of them!

  Just as Slayer’s Heart was about to clash against Saga’s blade and become trapped in by the other Twelve Zodiacs members encirclement, a sudden explosion erupted from his back—Frostburst !

  Qin Ruo did not disappoint Slayer’s Heart expectations! At the final and crucial moment, he cast Frostburst! The raging snowstorm instantly rushed through Slayer’s Heart and enveloped everyone.

  Saga and the rest of them were momentarily stunned as they lost the chance to accurately target the enemy. Although Saga had launched his attack at the path that Slayer’s Heart was charging toward, there was no system notification of his attack’s landing which he expected.

  Saga began to tremble, the attack he just launched should have sealed both his exits, and no matter which path he took he should have been damaged. If his attacks had landed, he was 80% sure that he could use his combos to ensnare him.

  However he had no clue—his attacks which he was certain to land had actually missed. How could he have dodged it, unless he stopped moving?!

  Nobody knew what happened in the snowstorm. But at the next moment, the first victim of the Twelve Zodiacs appeared. Crimson hammer trails could be seen from within the snowstorm filled with intensity and ferocity!

  Mu!

  At that moment, all of the Twelve Zodiacs members heard a familiar voice which shocked and angered them……

  “F*ck!”


  Mu had been resurrected by the Radiant Priest the moment Frostburst appeared. Next, he was engulfed by Frostburst and then he had to face the multiple hammer swings from Slayer’s Heart—Blood Drain Barrage!

  Although Mu was not able to react in time, even if he did, he was not able to put any resistance since he was just resurrected. Would an Elementalist without the protection of his Barrier successfully approached by a champion-tier Berserker have a different outcome?

  Mu died again!

  Next, Blood Drain Barrage continued to take out Twelve Zodiacs’ Radiant Priest, Bowmaster, and Bandit who were frozen by Frostburst’s effect. Normally, Qin Ruo and Slayer’s Heart combo was not sufficient to take them all out, but Qin Ruo had used an Intelligence Potion and Dark Frost Potion—his magic attack was now comparable to top-tier Elementalists as his freezing effect was absurdly high. An average Frostburst had instantly affected everyone without a barrier within its range, causing considerable HP loss. If they were too slow, it was impossible to get out of Slayer’s Heart attack range.

  Mu’s death alerted Camus who had been stopped momentarily outside of the blizzard. At that moment, Camus realized what just happened.

  Realizing that Mu had just died again, Camus began to lose his cool as another Dark Gold Equipment would have dropped. Burning rage could be seen from his bloodshot eyes! With a roar he dove into the blizzard, followed the crimson hammer’s trail, and charged without hesitation!

  No matter the cost he had to secure Mu’s second equipment that dropped. Otherwise even if resurrected, Mu’s strength would be considerably diminished. Not to mention the rarity of Gold Equipments, getting one of it was already difficult—losing two of them at once would have been a such a great loss that would take a long time to recover from.

  At that moment, Camus had to dismiss Qin Ruo who exposed himself and rush toward Mu’s equipment which had not been noticed by Slayer’s Heart.

  Slayer’s Heart who was within the snowstorm had to eliminate the last Twelve Zodiacs member and deal with Saga who had approached him. He did not have the leisure to bother about the equipment that Mu and the others had dropped.

  Although he was busy, Qin Ruo, on the other hand, was not.

  With the help of Elemental Perception, Qin Ruo was the only one on the battlefield with a clear grasp of the situation in the snowstorm. He ferociously and swiftly moved in the opposite direction, unexpectedly chasing Saga who had been knockbacked and healed.

  “Die!”


  With a loud roar, Camus dashed over to one of the Twelve Zodiacs member’s corpse. Like a steel fortress, he swung his two-meter-long unique weapon. The end which was shaped like a halberd gave a sharp cry. With lightning speed, a silver slash was launched in the air—targeting Slayer’s Heart which was charging toward Saga.

  *Boom!!!*

  Slayer’s Heart furrowed his brows as he turned to block it with Pazuzu’s Warhammer……

  As their weapons clashed, a loud and sharp metal screeching sound reverberated in the air. Slayer’s Heart was knockbacked, but Camus was unfazed as he leaped forward chasing after Slayer’s Heart.

  *Screech!*

  A clear eagle’s cry was heard!

  The majestic snow eagle swooshed down with an icy frost that could not be ignored, instantly grabbing on Camus sturdy armor. Even though blood was not shed, its immense force and freezing effect prevented Camus from chasing, helping Slayer’s Heart to escape from his predicament and forcefully froze Camus for two seconds……

  The battle has finally reached its climax!

  “Hahaha! Nice job!”


  Slayer’s Heart laughed as he ignored Camus and turned to continue his battle with Saga who had lunged his swords toward him. With Qin Ruo’s support restraining the attacks of the other three Elementalists, he was confident that he could finish Saga off quickly without any distractions!

  Qin Ruo on the other hand was greatly stressed—they were certainly elites of Twelve Zodiacs as just three Elementalists were enough to keep his hands full, not forgetting the Berserker. If it was not for his timely Snow Eagle Dive, Slayer’s Heart would have been in danger.

On the other side, as Qin Ruo quickly scanned through the mist of the battlefield looking toward the glittering equipment with a dark gold shine under the protection of several Twelve Zodiacs members, his heart began to pound in excitement.
