Chapter 325: Crazy Expansion, Electric Life Forms
The home star system of Olympus was massive. Since it was far away from white holes, the star system was perfectly intact.
The sun of this star system was a yellow dwarf smaller than the Sun. But the number of planets that orbited this yellow dwarf was massive.
There were 21 planets in the star system, including seven rocky planets and 14 gas giants. These 21 planets had 3,800 moons combined.
Leoux was excited. “These moons are different in size, ranging from larger than Mars to just a few hundred kilometers in diameters. You may devour the smaller one if the bigger ones are too big to swallow. The efficiency is much higher than that of devouring asteroids.”
Ling Jiu nodded rigorously. Given a choice, he could of course choose the moons.
Moons were larger than asteroids. A moon contained much more substances—gases, ice, dust, and minerals.
The efficiency he would get from devouring a moon was much higher than swallowing asteroids.
“You did a good job, Leoux.”
“I am your assistant. My job is to serve you, and make self-cultivation more efficient.” Leoux grinned. “Let’s start with the moons of the planet closest to the yellow dwarf. That planet is too close to the yellow dwarf. So there are only two moons with diameters of one thousand eight hundred kilometers and two thousand one hundred kilometers, respectively. It shouldn’t be a problem for you to devour moons of these sizes given your current level of strength.”
The Leoux came near that planet, which had no atmosphere because of its proximity to its sun, just like Mercury.
The surface temperature of that planet was higher than that of Venus, and there was no sign of life detected.
Ling Jiu came to the first moon and performed a Void Devouring. The Void Behemoth appeared and swallowed the moon.
The void around the moon vanished together with the moon into the Inner World of the Saiyan Golden Ape avatar.
“Break it down!”
In the matter of a thought, the large moon broke apart, decomposing into fine particles before merging with the Floating Island.

The Floating Island expanded rapidly, going from 10 km to 50 km, 100 km, 500 km, and 1,000 km.
It had become 1,500 km in diameter, its land area reaching an astonishing size.
With a diameter of 1,500 km, the land area was 1.76 million km2.
A single moon had increased the Floating Island to 1.76 million km2, which was much more efficient than the expansion rate of Ling Jiu’s own Floating Island.
Next, he devoured the second moon, which was 2,100 km in diameter, almost half of the diameter of the Moon. But it still stood no chance in front of Ling Jiu’s Void Devouring. This moon vanished at once from space.
“Break it down!”
The moon fell apart and turned into the purest elements to fill the Floating Island, which expanded at a crazy rate.
Its diameter went from 1,600 km to 1800 and then 2,000 km.
When the expansion stopped, the Floating Island’s diameter had reached a staggering 2,100 km. Despite that, it seemed that it did not expand as quickly as compared to devouring the first moon.
This was entirely logical.
As the Floating Island got larger and larger, it would need even more materials for expansion. Each extra kilometer of expansion would need a proportionately higher amount of materials.
Ling Jiu was not in a hurry, though. He came to the second planet.
“This planet is the second closest to the star and is not in the habitable zone. The concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is sky high, and a certain degree of the greenhouse effect has occurred. This must have caused the high surface temperature of the planet,” Leoux said. “Life exists on this planet as a result. The high concentration of dark bio-energy has made the living being on this planet powerful. The weirdest thing is that they are bodily but energy beings.”
“Energy beings?” Ling Jiu’s eyebrows shot up. “Let’s check them out. I have never seen energy being before.”
“You got it.”
They descended to the planet, punching through the dense atmosphere. There were violent storms in the atmosphere because of the thick clouds.
The wind was blowing at several hundreds of kilometers per hour. Coupled with the constant lightning, the atmosphere was as violent as that on Jupiter.
“Where are those energy beings, Leoux?” Ling Jiu asked in puzzlement.
“Those energy beings will attack you when you expose yourself to the atmosphere.”
Ling Jiu cocked an eyebrow and then teleported to the atmosphere outside.
Splatt!
He instantly became a lightning rod, with hundreds of lightning bolts striking him.
Some lightning bolts were the size of a finger, some the size of a bucket. They struck out of the clouds and hit Ling Jiu directly. Ling Jiu’s hair stood on end as if he was an actual Super Saiyan.
As powerful as the lightning was, it only produced a series of tingling sensations on Ling Jiu’s body. It caused no harm to him.
He ignored the lightning and looked for the energy beings that Leoux mentioned.
It did not take long before the cloud up ahead split open. An enormous electric being that looked like a blue whale rushed out from the cloud.
“So this is an energy being?” Ling Jiu studied that thing curiously.
Roar!
The electric blue whale growled as he came in front of Ling Jiu, seemingly also studying him.
Ling Jiu reached out to touch the electric blue whale.
Splatt!
Currents on the electric blue whale traveled up his hand, creating a numb sensation on his body.
“That is an electric life form, Ling Jiu,” Leoux said. “There are many such life forms on the surface of this planet, almost all of them living in the atmosphere. They differ completely from the life forms you have seen on other planets.”
“They are indeed very different.” Ling Jiu nodded in agreement. “Leoux, will the electric life forms die if they leave this planet?”
“Energy life forms such as the electric beings need a specific environment to survive. The environmental requirements of their habitat are strict,” Leoux said. “Once they leave this place, and without the electric energy supply, they will quickly die, just like fish on Earth.”
“Well, then there is no point catching them.” Ling Jiu shook his head with disappointment.
“Nevertheless, the core of these energy beings may be useful for Thunder-type arcanists.”
“I didn’t know that.”
