Gao Zhiyun sheepishly smiled. “I like singing the Romance of West Chamber most. I want to have a chance to perform again on the stage.

“I want you to be my audience.”

Gao Zhiyun didn’t mention Chen Shu. Even if she wanted an audience to listen to her, she dared not let Chen Shu, who was full of yang energy, come over.

Ye Sui seemed to think of something and said in Chen Shu’s ear, “Do you want to go on a date with me in the evening?”

Chen Shu had returned early in order to spend time with Ye Sui, so of course, he didn’t have any opinions.

Ye Sui looked at Gao Zhiyun and said, “I can provide you with a theatre. You can call all your former friends, but my husband will go with me.”

Although Gao Zhiyun was afraid of Chen Shu, she thought it would be good to have one more listener.

Ye Sui helped Gao Zhiyun to contact an empty theater that night. She borrowed it from a friend for one night.

The whole theater was brightly lit in order to fulfill Gao Zhiyun’s wish.

Gao Zhiyun invited many of her little sisters and people who loved singing as much as she did, and they all performed together.

When the ghosts came over in high spirits, they discovered Ye Sui and Chen Shu sitting in the first row of the theatre, and their legs suddenly softened.

Those ghosts obediently vacated two rows of seats and keenly sat in the back, leaving some private space for Ye Sui and Chen Shu.

Although Chen Shu could not see the ghosts, he could hear the songs coming from the stage. Besides, Ye Sui was sitting next to him, and even if he couldn’t see, this was a date in disguise.

Chen Shu subconsciously wanted to reach out to hold Ye Sui’s hand, but unexpectedly, she moved his hand to the side. “You forgot something. If I touch you, I also won’t be able to see them.”

Chen Shu withdrew his hand with resentment and sat obediently in his seat.

Gao Zhiyun and her singing friends stood on the stage. It was a mystery from where they found the costumes. However, coupled with their singing, it was indeed a sight to enjoy.

Ye Sui leaned against Chen Shu. At the moment, she and Chen Shu were alone in the theater, enjoying the ghosts’ performance. This was indeed a unique and unmatched date.

Ye Sui glanced at Chen Shu, who had carefully folded his hand on his chest for fear of touching her hand. She observed his expression and found that although his eyes were focused on the stage, his mind was wandering elsewhere.

Chen Shu’s distracted look was so cute!

Ye Sui smiled silently. She took out a pair of gloves from her bag and put them on her hand. She had prepared herself before she went out.

“Chen Shu,” Ye Sui leaned near Chen Shu’s ear and softly called him.

As soon as Chen Shu heard Ye Sui’s voice, he immediately turned his head and looked at her.

The next second, Ye Sui reached out her hand, passed it through Chen Shu’s arm, and took the initiative to hold his hand. “Husband, let’s hold hands on our date.”

Chen Shu’s displeasure from before vanished into thin air. He couldn’t hold Ye Sui’s hand earlier, so he had no mood to listen to the song, but now, it was different.

Ye Sui felt Chen Shu’s tightened grip, causing the corners of her mouth to curl up. She found her husband quite easy to coax.

After leaving the theatre, Ye Sui and Chen Shu drove away. Ye Sui felt a little hungry and bought something in a nearby restaurant that was still open. She sat in the car to finish her meal.

The car was parked by the side of the road. After finishing her midnight snacks, Ye Sui got down for a walk, which was helpful to aid food digestion.

Ye Sui and Chen Shu walked along the edge of the street. It had already snowed for a while in the evening, and now, the ground was covered in a white layer. She had dressed warmly and was also tightly hugged by Chen Shu, so she naturally didn’t feel cold.

As she walked, Ye Sui suddenly felt the tiny snowflakes sweeping across her eyelashes, bringing a little chill with them.

Ye Sui paused, looked up, and said in surprise, “Chen Shu, it’s snowing.”
