“No, please look at my eyes… Things are now as you all imagine; you have to listen to my explanation…” Zhang Zian said solemnly.
However, no matter how much he tried to clarify, Wang Qian and Li Kun both seemed to firmly believe that he was either a secret crossdresser, or a pervert who was fond of collecting bikinis.
Li Kun quickly packed the swimsuit back into the packaging, then handed the parcel back to Zhang Zian with deference and respect. He wondered if the swimsuit still had any of its previous smell? He’d better wash his hands after going back to work––it wouldn’t be good to contract some weird sickness…
Li Kun had heard that the Germans had a unique taste for things on the stronger end… even the German adult videos provided a stronger and heavier stimulation. He thought that Master’s trip to Germany was really not a wasted trip now; he also had their kind of preferences…
Zhang Zian was in a dilemma as he looked at the bikini swimsuit that Li Kun was handing over. If he wanted to blame anyone, he could only blame the mail for being sent over today.
Even if he chose not to receive it, they would probably think it was a cover-up, so Zian could only take it from his hands and quickly change the subject. “Oh right, do the two of you have your driver’s license?”
“Driver’s license? Yes, we just got it last summer. We enrolled together and took the test together.” The two of them were in a blur, unsure as to why Zhang Zian would suddenly bring up that question.
Zhang Zian nodded. “Okay then. I was planning on buying a car, but it will be driven by the two of you most of the time.”
“Buying a car?” They suddenly got excited after hearing the news. “Master, are you planning to get a Ferrari or a Lamborghini? No no, those two cars are not worthy of you… It must be a Bugatti Veyron!”
“Yes, Master! I can’t believe that we are going to be able to touch a Bugatti Veyron’s steering wheel during our lifetime!”
“A relative in my family just got married last year and he borrowed an Audi A8 from his friend as the wedding car. I heard that he had given the car owner a 1,000 dollar red packet. So if it’s a Bugatti Veyron as the wedding car, the red packet should at least be 10,000 dollars, right?”
“Are you an idiot? Bugatti Veyron as a wedding car? The minimum price starts at 100,000! You also don’t get to bargain!”
They continued saying a sentence each, both immersed in their beautiful dream of driving in a Bugatti Veyron up to the peak of life.
Zhang Zian looked at them with a cold face and a few words slid out from between his teeth. “Bugatti your sister! Are the two of you paying? Of course I’m getting the high-performance, super-enduring, giant-capacity, and aesthetically pleasing Wuling Hong Guang S MPV!”
The two of them still didn’t give up. “Master, are you planning to buy a Bugatti Veyron and paste the logo of the Wuling Hong Guang S on the back of it? I heard that this is the new way to show off!”
Starting an aquarium but not having one’s own transportation was definitely a no go. There were always things to transport––whether it was the aquarium tanks or the equipment, which were all very heavy, or the marine life themselves that had to be transported in water, which would make them heavy and take up a lot of space. So borrowing a car was not going to work and pulling a tricycle like before would not be efficient, so he had to buy a car.
Zhang Zian also desired to buy a Ferrari or a Lamborghini, and he might even be looked down upon by the salesperson at the 4S shop, which would start the classic story of shaming the salesperson… Hitting up girls would no longer be a problem in a luxury car!
As for the Bugatti Veyron, forget about it––he didn’t even dare to think about it. But the problem was that he couldn’t afford any of them, and the sports cars could not be used to deliver goods. They were completely impractical, so he could only leave them in his thoughts.
Since his options were based on practicality as the main reason, the Wuling Hong Guang MPV––which could fetch people and deliver goods, while it was also spacious, fuel-efficient, and drove through rough terrain like flat land––would obviously end up as his top choice.
Seeing that Zian was really planning to get a Wuling Hong Guang MPV, both Wang Qian and Li Kun couldn’t help but feel disappointed.
Zhang Zian then asked them about the location of any nearby building materials market. He planned to head down an order for a batch of aquarium tanks.
Zian left them to label the fish nets with the serial numbers and headed back to the pet shop by himself, where met Lu Yiyun, who had printed out the name list of the people that had sent gifts for him. Zhang Zian then went back upstairs, holding the name list in one hand and the bikini box with the other.
Pi was concentrated on typing in front of the computer; it did not even hear Zian’s footsteps.
Sounds of water splashing could be heard coming from the bathroom, so Zian walked in to see that it was Sihwa in the bathtub, playing with the little yellow duck toys on the water with great interest.
She held a little yellow duck in each hand, letting them kiss in one moment, then letting them embrace each other the next moment. She even did a voice-over for them; she was having a great time.
“Here, your swimsuit has arrived. Put it on before playing.” Zhang Zian handed the whole box to her. “See if it fits. If it doesn’t then we can exchange it. Fortunately, I bought the freight insurance.”
Sihwa reluctantly let go of the little yellow ducks, then took out the swimsuit and curiously looked at it. “How do I put this on?”
“Don’t ask me! You can figure it out yourself! I don’t know!” Zhang Zian had just been mistaken as a crossdresser, so he was currently in a sensitive state.
“I’ll head out first. Let me know once you’re done.”
Zian walked over to the living room and looked at the novel that Pi had worked on for a while, then he heard Sihwa call out, “Ajeo-an! I’ve put it on!”
“How is it? Does it fit?”
Zian made his way back into the bathroom to see that Sihwa had already put on the top half of the bikini, and was playing around with the triangle trunks.
“Where should I put this on? On my head?” she asked while looking bewildered.
“Don’t bother about that! Just throw it to the side! It’s not for you to wear!” Zhang Zian said.
“Oh.”
She felt that it was a pity when she heard him, but she still threw the trunks to the side and moved her seaweed-like dark green curly hair to the side. With her arms at her sides, she asked, “How is it? Do I look good?”
The light blue bikini swimsuit matched well with her light blue fishtail and translucent caudal fin––it felt whole. Whether it was the size or color, it couldn’t be any more matching, and it made her skin look fairer.
“Pretty good,” Zhang Zian said.
“Hehe!” Sihwa was happy and she continued to play with her little yellow ducks.
This pair of little yellow ducks were Zhang Zian’s toys when he was younger. They were already very old and were thrown in the corner of a storage box that was beside the bathtub. It wasn’t clear on how she dug it out.
He listened carefully. Sihwa was reciting a nursery rhyme that she made. “One little yellow duck, two little yellow duck, swimming over to meet oppa…”
“Sihwa, I have something to ask you.”
After she had put on her swimsuit, Zhang Zian was now able to face her from a closer distance.
“Hm?” she replied without even raising her head up.
“Previously, while we were still at the beach in Germany, there were many different marine creatures around you… Do you remember? There was also a white whale in the sea that seemed like it was singing a song with you,” Zian said.
“Yep yep.” She nodded, but her eyes were still focused on the little yellow duck.
Zhang Zian pondered for a moment. “What I want to ask is… those marine creatures, would they follow you all the way here?”
It would cause some trouble if that was the case. A batch of unknown marine creatures gathering at Binhai City was going to cause an uproar.
“I don’t know.” She swished her hair and shook her head. “Maybe.”
