"I am gonna skip school for a few days," Reylin said after he logged out.

He was exhausted mentally, so he didn't even leave his bed. Instead, he left a message to his butler, who had been worried yet again.

"It seems like the dungeon is quite an arduous task. I understand, Young Master!" Sebastian nodded promptly and left Reylin alone.

His young master was already sleeping, and no further talk was possible.

Reylin slept as little as possible.

He woke up with sleepy eyes, and he would love to sleep more. However, he stood up and took a quick bath. He also ate fast food and hopped back into the game to not stress his partner any longer.

Still, a few hours had passed, and things took a significant change in the Faynom World-

After Reylin logged out, Emilia stared at his spot for a few seconds.

She then grasped her gun and called out her ghost, "Tell me places with the least undead. I will hunt them with minimal risk and slowly end this torture."

Although it was nice to have a good man by her side, Emilia didn't like this place at all. She couldn't use her holy flames, which made her further away from her goal instead!

But more than anything, Emilia was too much of a bother for Reylin.

She was conscious of it, and it made her sour.

"Follow me," Emilia's ghost smiled brightly, and she offered her help.

Emilia couldn't ask for more, but only now did she notice her lord's statue.

It was much better than the drawing Reylin had given her. Of course, his talent brought another treasure to their world, but Emilia's feelings greatly differed.

"Protect us, Lord Milkyona," Emilia whispered and turned around.

  A few minutes later……

  BANG!

She killed one of many zombies she had to erase!

The zombies were the easiest targets as their flesh exploded beautifully. In comparison, the skeletons just lost a part of their skull, and they carried on with their assault! Her current enemies just dropped onto the ground, and a few more bullets did the work!

[You have converted the zombie's flesh into x10 common bullets.]

"Why not epic?" Emilia glared at the system, "He made an epic sword! He can use his flames! What's up with me?! Is my devotion not genuine?!"

Her loud voice reverberated across the vicinity, "Have I not worked hard enough?! Reward me!"

"That's bad! I hear many zombies and skeletons going our way!" Emilia's ghost alerted the frustrated priestess.

Emilia tilted her head to the side, "This much should do…… I wanted to level up my game!" She glared at those impending monsters and let out bullets once they entered her reach!

One by one, the zombies dropped, and Emilia's proficiency and the level rose.

She was pushed by her emotions, but Emilia was fine with it.

Not only she couldn't use her fire, but she was also relying too much on Reylin.

It had left something uncomfortable within her.

She believed that her chances of fulfilling her goal would drop below zero should things go this way, let alone meeting her lord!

Reylin would continue to get stronger, and he would be the one to face all those extraordinary existences.

She would be left behind, her purpose fulfilled……

And what exactly did she do?

As Emilia began thinking of it, her face contorted with dissatisfaction, and she let out bullets in rapid succession!

Her aim was flawless, and zombies died without any more bullets needed!

A few fallen zombies didn't stop the undead army! Skeleton's numbers prevailed further, and Emilia shifted her focus to them, "Your cackling ticks my nerves too much!"

  BANG! BANG! BANG!

Becoming closer with her gun, Emilia grew fiercer, and she even dared to play with the undead at close range! In a way, she was similar to Reylin, who danced with his flames, with enemies being like third-wheel.

Emilia did well, and Reylin indeed would have congratulated her should he here.

Alas, the frustrated priestess had overdone!

"Ghost……" She and her ghost said in tandem.

An army of undead zombies moving simultaneously toward one goal had been noticed by a particular ghost.

Particular because he wasn't in a normal state either.

A ghost was more scared than curious, and his face showed it. It was a man who had died in his early thirties, and he still possessed more humanity within himself.

His rough breathing showed it, and Emilia tried to infer as much as she could from it, "What's with this ghost? It's not the arena yet, so he should be more surprised than scared. Is he running away from someone?

  Ah!" Emilia understood.

There was someone else, after all.

The first person to step into this dungeon!

Emilia clenched her gun and rushed back to her house. She knew that no undead would follow her here.

  What about the ghost?

She scrutinized its face, and the ghost indeed changed.

His fear turned into elation, and he charged into the house!

"Since when have I been so reckless?" Emilia whispered to herself, then faintly smirked, "One ghost is far from a problem. He also took a bait, and he will try to get me."

  She took a dangerous path.

However, Emilia couldn't imagine a different one that would enable her skills and reward her more.

  This dungeon was her chance.

A chance that would bring her straight to the Lord Milkyona. However, if before she had just thought of herself seeing the lord, Emilia knew that Reylin would be next to her, if not at the helm.

The question was, what would her stance be!

Emilia didn't care about it, however, "Lord Milkyona, the esteemed lady, will understand either choice!"

And with this, Emilia utterly followed what her heart beats for her!

[You have brought out your holy flames!]

Her gun lit up in an orange holy light!

And flames flew out of her gun's barrel as if smoke!

  BANG!

The ghost passed through the wall, but just halfway through! The moment its head popped out, Emilia's holy bullet promptly pushed him away from her house.

"It's our house," Emilia smirked, feeling more confident than ever with her holy flames back!
