BANG! BANG! BANG!
The battle between Reylin and the necromancer just started yet it already shook the whole dungeon.
First of all, Reylin needed to close the gap!
He fought with his sword and hacked at all undead coming his way. His flames howled as usual, and his sword drew countless fire trails that burst out with fire as well. Alas, he wasn't the most explosive guy.
The undead controlled by the ghosts were.
Both sides had ghosts and their unique abilities supporting the undead minions.
Quality-wise, it seemed like both forces were even.
However, the quantity was heavily on the necromancer's side. To control such an army, one would need to have a broad wife and quick reflexes.
Was the necromancer a good commander?
Reylin hadn't seen much yet, but he knew that necromancer had a cheat ability.
The ghosts and their intelligence!
"I will leave the ghosts to you," Reylin scrutinized the whole battleground. "He uses those giant zombies alongside his abilities. They will feel my flames!"
His voice reached Emilia!
As another living being on Reylin's side, she had an essential role in overwhelming the ghosts and destroying all obstacles. Her long-distance skills allowed Emilia to help Reylin if need be and constantly focus on the ghosts.
Reylin knew she wouldn't disappoint him.
He ran toward the giant zombies.
Callan's undead and their inflamed bodies marched behind him. It was just a scant amount of them, but the majority of those undead were around Reylin just as he had requested.
At last, Reylin stopped killing normal undead and faced the first mass of zombies.
All their heads howled before his sword and flames reached them, and that alone was a skill on its own.
The sound shook the air around them, and visible fluctuations swept through Reylin and his allies.
Reylin chuckled, "I can be louder."
[You have used The Red Sky.]
Legendary flames erupted from Reylin's body, and the miniature sun promptly spread its tendrils around him.
Callan's undead became fuel to these flames, and their loud shrieks also fought alongside him.
The explosion of Reylin's Legendary Flames utterly silenced the zombies!
From those flames, Reylin shoved his bone sword into one of their heads! "One down!" He howled and used the flamethrower through the weapon!
First head and its eyes lit up in the scarlet flames, then the rest followed.
Reylin's fire filled their mouths and eyes in rapid succession, then the giant zombie exploded! A weaker flame pillar stood in its place.
GRRRRRRR!
A second giant snarled from the side.
Reylin's eyes quickly shifted, and his sword rose to protect himself, "I would be surprised should you be weaker than me."
He didn't need anyone to remind him to not fight those zombies fist to fist!
In his case, Reylin protected himself with his sword, but his bones cracked. He felt his strength slipping away due to the raw pressure from the giant!
Fortunately, his partner had already sent her holy flames to help him!
A holy fire rain pierced through the giant zombie's hand, pressuring Reylin. Her flames splashed across its whole form, then landed on Reylin.
[Emilia has healed you.]
"Well done," Reylin cut straight after he fought a gap Emilia had made for him.
"The Red Sky," Reylin bathed in flames all the time.
He quickly regained enough mana to let out another legendary skill, and Callan's undead was one of the best reserves for him!
Another giant zombie lit up in flames, then a fire pillar devoured it alive.
'He should make a move at any time- Oh, that's perfect,' Reylin inwardly smirked.
A mass of dark matter landed on the place where he was. It was a powerful skill that left a deep hole where Reylin stood.
As for the pyromaniac, he was nowhere to be seen!
Emilia's heart trembled, and the ghosts around her contorted their faces with disbelief!
On another backline, The Necromancer loudly laughed, "You might do well against my pawns, but you are ant no less before me! Player!"
His laughter suddenly stopped, however.
He promptly pointed his staff to the side and let out a faint magic bolt.
An unknown power halved that bolt, and it revealed Reylin sneaking in, "Well. It has to be some detection magic."
"We, mages, must protect themselves on the backline," the necromancer scoffed.
Reylin clapped his hands, "I will remember that."
He was all smiles as his Black Rose Shadow Class indeed had the means to deal with such detection magic.
Reylin used it just now to close up the distance.
Frankly, he had neglected that class the most. He wasn't disappointed in himself at all and swore to focus on it a little more.
"You deem yourself smart, but you've come here straight after killing my giant zombie. Did you really expect to kill me in one move, or are you that impatient?" The necromancer shifted his eyes to the battle.
His side had been winning despite losing two giant zombies and one ghost from the second living being.
Reylin shrugged, "I told you, didn't I? You are a loser."
The necromancer glared behind his hoodie, then his staff let out a dark matter wave! Everything around them became poisoned, and black miasma began coming out from the ground.
His staff rose, and he gathered a tremendous amount of mass in one bubble, "You shall pay for your ignorance."
"Do you want to kill me? I can respawn and come here again. I will be more than prepared next time," Reylin smirked.
His words reminded the necromancer about the player's unique ability.
'What is he planning?' He inwardly asked.
Something was off as Reylin explained it himself.
The necromancer kept Reylin at bay with his dark matter and pressured no less. He didn't dare to do anything before assessing the situation.
Alas, he failed to comprehend Reylin's goal.
He inferred at last, 'He must be buying time……'
"Dark Matter Cage," The Necromancer whispered. "I will keep you confined and provide the endless torture!"
"Sure thing, the necromancer," Reylin smiled brightly and waited for the dark matter to swallow him whole.
In prison, Reylin inwardly said, 'Tsk…… I haven't played enough games. Should have expected some detection magic.'
