Since her son had already warned her, Tang Moyu had no plans to repeat it in the future. Whether she was safe back at home or attending any event, she would have to make sure to only drink in moderation. She would have to be a responsible mother for her children, even if that meant that she wouldn't have any chances to be with a man in the future.

"En. Mommy promises not to do it ever again." Tang Moyu reaffirmed.

Xiao Bao nodded, pleased that he was able to shake some sense back to his mother.

"Good, then Mommy should agree to no partying for a while, right?"

Feng Tianyi was left flabbergasted at Xiao Bao's words. Usually, it was the parents who set rules and punishments for their children, however since Xiao Bao was the man of the house, Tang Moyu had agreed to share some of her burden with her young son and that included looking after his younger sister.

"Alright. Mommy isn't planning to attend one anytime soon anyway. I'll also tell your Auntie Mei and Cheng Ning to decline any invitation for a month."

Since Tang Moyu needed to placate her children this time, she didn't mind sacrificing some of her leeway time to attend parties in order to earn back their trust and favor.

Pleased with their Mommy's words, the sweet little buns left the dining table to play, while their mother started having her breakfast with Qin Jiran.

"You told them you got drunk and had them after the incident?" Feng Tianyi couldn't believe how honest Tang Moyu was to her children. She didn't even hide the fact about the conception of the twins, as if she'd already thought that far for the little buns to understand where they came from and why their father was never around.

"It's not like I have a choice. I try my best not to lie to my children." Tang Moyu grumbled as she ate her breakfast with Qin Jiran by her side, while the little buns returned to watching the TV after giving their Mommy a piece of their mind.

She glanced at her children and looked down at her half-finished food, thinking of how in this life, she only had her little buns as her anchor.

Tang Moyu didn't think she would be able to move on and continue living with a purpose if she hadn't given birth to them. She might have everything, including her family, five years ago but having the twins in her life was something she would never regret.

"I explained to them what had happened so they wouldn't get confused when they start hearing people talking about me and their father," she continued. "Xiao Bao and Little Star are both smart but they are still young. I need to explain why they are fatherless." She explained to Qin Jiran.

Unlike his half-brother, the empress was rarely seen in public during her participation in reviving the Feng Conglomerate. Feng Tianyi found it outrageous that his brother had been shameless enough to let a woman do most of the work needed to save the company. That only meant that his managerial skills sucked, and Feng Tianhua was only lucky because he had Tang Moyu on his side to help him.

"At least your son was kind enough to overlook it, for the time being. You better not forget your promise though." He pointed out, a reminder which Tang Moyu easily agreed with.

To be able to have someone to talk to about her difficulties in raising her children alone, Tang Moyu appreciated Qin Jiran's concern for her family. Still, she couldn't help but be guarded against the unknown motive behind the deal he made with her.

So far, the man hadn't made any suspicious moves, and although he occasionally made phone calls while at home, according to Auntie Lu, Qin Jiran hadn't invited anyone to enter their home at Peach Blossom Garden, other than Song Fengyan and He Lianchen, whom he had introduced to her.

Speaking of what happened last night…

"Mr. Qin, did I…" Tang Moyu hesitated and avoided his gaze.

Feng Tianyi found it amusing that the empress was feeling embarrassed in front of him. "What is it?" He asked.

"Did I do anything inappropriate last night, Mr. Qin?" Tang Moyu replied quickly with a blush. It was one thing that she ended up sleeping on the same bed with him, but what else had she done last night before passing out like an idiot?

Qin Jiran gave her a smile that meant trouble, but Tang Moyu wasn't sure if he wasn't telling her out of respect as his host, or that he wanted to keep the details to himself.

In contrast to her assumption, Feng Tianyi didn't want to tell her the truth out of pity and because he enjoyed seeing her like this. Uncertain and shy at the same time.

"We've already slept on the same bed, yet you still call me Mr. Qin?" Feng Tianyi teased her, much to Tang Moyu's shock. Her head snapped towards him with wide eyes. She wasn't sure if she had heard him right.

  "W-what?" She asked in disbelief.

Feng Tianyi leaned forward and placed his elbow on top of the dining table before cupping his chin with one hand. A mischievous smile curling on his lips as he looked at the empress.

"Tang Moyu, don't you think it's time to drop the honorifics? Why don't you call me by my name?"
