Chapter 132 You Dare to Call My Mommy Ugly?! 2
"Yu Gege, do you think they're okay? Mommy hasn't come back. Neither had Daddy Ji." Little Star asked her twin brother in a low voice, watching Auntie Lu, who was cleaning the kitchen in preparation for dinner, from the corner of her eyes.
The little boy crossed his arm over his chest and shut his eyes as they sat idly on the couch inside the guest house, waiting for their mother's return.
"They will be fine, Little Star. Have faith in Mommy and Daddy Ji." Xiao Bao replied to his sister. "But there's something else you should know." He opened his eyes and let his obsidian eyes meet his sister's.
"What is it?" Little Star asked curiously. It was rare for her to see her brother this serious. A deep frown etched on his cute, handsome face.
There was something he was worried about because he overheard their Mommy making a phone call earlier to see if she could find a kindergarten for him and Little Star would to attend once the spring season was over.
"Mommy is looking for a new kindergarten for us. I don't like it." He confessed to his sister. Even Little Star scowled upon hearing her brother's words.
The little boy hated going to school and hated how some adults thought that they were clueless. Xiao Bao might be a little too smart for his age and his sister was a bit mischievous with her tricks, but they never harmed anyone unless they were provoked.
For some adults, they thought that he and Little Star were a pair of mischievous kids who kept inciting trouble with their classmates, but in reality, they were being bullied for not having a daddy of their own.
At the last kindergarten they attended in New York, he and Little Star didn't inform their Mommy about a parent-student event because they didn't have a daddy to bring with them. They were bullied by older students after finding out that they were being raised alone by their Mommy.
"Haha, Feiyu and Feixiu won't attend of course. They only have a Mommy. Do you think their Mommy is too ugly and that's why their Daddy left them?" One bully grinned at them as his friends surrounded Xiao Bao and Little Star.
"They don't have a daddy? Then might as well bring a dog!" The other kids taunted them.
"How dare you call my Mommy ugly?! I'll let you see who's the ugly one today!" Tang Feiyu snapped at them. In his eyes, their Mommy was the best and the prettiest of all.
How could they talk bad about a person they know nothing about? Tang Feiyu couldn't understand it.
For young Tang Feiyu, his mother and his twin sister were his bottom line. He rarely snapped or talked back from the insults thrown at his face, but when both of his family members were dragged in, it would be a different matter.
That was the first time Tang Feiyu got into trouble as he directly punched the boy who called his Mommy ugly, ensuing a fight between him and the older kids, much to the teacher's horror.
"Did she already find one?" Little Star asked.
Xiao Bao shook his head before pulling himself back to his feet, followed by his sister.
"Not yet but let's go see what's taking them so long," he agreed to his sister's observation that their Mommy had taken too long to talk to their Daddy Ji.
They didn't find their Mommy and Daddy Ji at the gazebo and wondered where they went. The little buns decided to check the garden and found them near the weeping cherry tree.
Little Star blinked her round eyes upon seeing their Mommy sitting on their Daddy Ji's lap with her arms wrapped around his neck, her face dangerously close to their Daddy Ji's.
"Eh? What are they doing?" She asked in confusion.
It was only after hearing her question that Xiao Bao broke from his trance and blinked twice at what they were seeing. If his guess was right, Mommy and Daddy Ji already made up. He shrugged and pulled his sister's wrist.
"Come on, let's go back. I think we're worrying for nothing." Xiao Bao told his sister as he dragged her back to the guest house.
"But I don't understand? Are you sure they aren't hurting each other?" Little Star whined to her twin brother. Sometimes she wished that she was as smart as her Yu Gege so she wouldn't have to guess too hard about most of the things that were happening around her.
Her mommy wasn't strangling their Daddy Ji, right? They wanted a daddy, but if their mommy was trying to kill their Daddy Ji, how would they get a daddy at this rate?
"Of course not, in fact, I think we've succeeded, Little Star." Xiao Bao gave her a triumphant grin, "we will have a real daddy soon."
"Really?" Little Star's face lit up.
"En." Her brother reaffirmed.
At that moment, Auntie Lu stepped out and saw the two of them.
"Where have you been? Where's your Mommy and Uncle Ji?" The old woman asked.
Little Star contemplated what to say, in the end she said they were busy.
"Busy?" Aunty Lu was confused. "What are they doing?"
Remembering what she'd seen, Little Star grinned and said in a loud voice.
"They're busy eating!"
