Chapter 218 Make. One. Wrong. Move. 2
It was the only time she could truly be herself and could exert all her frustrations and anger out of her system. When she gave birth to her little buns, her time spent training dwindled as she barely had time for herself and could only do it sparingly once a month.
She knew that being born in a rich family and working at a high position in a company came with a set of risks ordinary people wouldn't have to face. There might be a possibility where she would face a dangerous situation, in which all her negotiating skills would fail to dissuade a possible attacker, leaving her with no other option but to protect herself.
Most people, especially women, believe that punching the neck, poking the eyes, or kicking the crouch of their attackers were the best ways to subdue or neutralize an attack and escape. What they didn't know is that in reality, they often do not work at all.
Tang Moyu knew that even if she learned how to throw a punch properly, she was still limited in terms of strength, especially if she was against a man like Han Shaohui. Real fights were nothing like Hollywood movies. People had an inbuilt instinct to protect their vulnerable parts like the eyes and the groin.
Her techniques were meant to subdue her foe rather than inflicting damage to them. However, this time, Tang Moyu made an exception for her brother-in-law. There was a dirty little secret in martial arts, and that was; any technique that's illegal in a competition should be the first thing one should use in self-defense.
Her frustration from her boyfriend overfeeding her for the past week and the thought of Han Shaohui beating her elder sister black and blue was enough to fuel the empress to keep beating the shit out of her brother-in-law.
Han Shaohui dodged the empress's fist and quickly threw one of his own. For a brief instant, Tang Moyu's eyes widened before she managed to tilt her head back and slam another fist in his face.
It had been a long time since she participated in a brawl with Li Meili, so she was incredibly surprised at the pain that blazed up her arm as her steady fist greeted his jaw.
Stars burst in Han Shaohui's vision, but he shook it off, blindly throwing a sloppy kick towards the empress.
Tang Moyu stepped back, easily evading the kick.
"Is that all you got?" She crowed, smirking infuriatingly at him.
Han Shaohui growled and threw himself at her.
Tang Moyu released his dark-haired head. Crimson leaked from both his nostrils and his nose was twisted right. She drew and brought her knee out again and plowed it into his stomach, making him writhe in pain.
Han Shaohui refused to back down like this and mustered all his remaining strength to punch Tang Moyu.
The empress responded to his punch by moving to the side, parrying one of his limbs before slamming a palm, striking into Han Shaohui's chin. She immediately chambered her foot and unleashed a stomp to his knee at full force, dislocating the knee and crushing the kneecap.
The cry of agony that followed was like the hymn of the angels being sung in Tang Moyu's ears.
Dare to bully her sister and make her daughter cry? Han Shaohui made a grave mistake by crashing in the empress's place.
Half of his men had already been subdued by her and Li Meili. It felt like they were dealing with a small fry.
Han Shaohui forced himself to stand up, but with his right knee being busted by the empress, who had her fists stained with his blood, her skin glistened with a sheen of sweat. He realized that he'd underestimated this woman.
If he couldn't subdue her easily, then he would have no other choice to use more force. He smirked evilly and reached a hand inside his coat, but froze when he felt a cold metal pressed under his chin. The cold empress was hovering behind him as he knelt on the ground, with a bloody nose.
"Looking for this?" She asked him dangerously. Her eyes flashing with anger as she gave the remaining men a cold look.
"T-Tang Moyu…" Han Shaohui was shocked to realize that she'd already disarmed him during their fight without him noticing it.
"Son of a bitch! Did you just think that I would let you get away so easily?" Tang Moyu whispered in his ear, sending a shiver down his spine. "If you're aiming for power tripping, you should have brought your best men with you."
His people tried to move closer, as the tension was back at full force again. They didn't bother to use their guns earlier because they thought they could easily deal with the empress and her partner, but who would have thought that these women would be able to disarm them?
"Make. One. Wrong. Move." Tang Moyu emphasized each word and pressed the gun harder under Han Shaohui's chin. He broke into a cold sweat as he realized that Tang Moyu wasn't playing this time.
"You can't kill me… I'm your brother-in-law!" He yelled at her.
"Oh, Mr. Han. I assure you before the sun sets, you wouldn't be my brother-in-law anymore. From this moment on, you are no longer my Wan Jie's husband." She said before breaking his left hand that he had daringly used to touch her.
