Chapter 219 My Wifey Is So Cool! 1
When he read Tang Moyu's file about her taking up martial art and self-defense lessons, he vaguely assumed that it was one of those normal lessons heiresses like Gu Yuyao and Tang Moyu were required to take. But to actually witness his woman fighting, defending herself without breaking too much sweat… the devil was delightfully surprised and proud at the same time.
'My wifey is so cool!' He thought, his eyes locked on his woman, refusing to look away from Tang Moyu as she leisurely took her sweet time, enjoying the chance of beating the hell out of Han Shaohui.
He was also surprised that Li Meili was able to hold it down on her own too, protecting Tang Moyu's back from possible sneak attacks. From the look of it, it seems like they were used to fighting together. Their chemistry and tactful understanding of each other's styles showed that they knew how to best deal with their enemies.
Just how many fights had Tang Moyu been in before she met him? He wondered.
Feng Tianyi was in a conundrum as he gave it a good thought. Tang Moyu was able to defend herself and make money on her own. Like Gu Yuyao said, Tang Moyu didn't need to rely on him for anything.
In fact, Tang Moyu was able to pay the money she owed him, in full, within a short span of just three months. She only needed to pay the interest, which no doubt could be settled even before the year ended.
Feng Tianyi wanted her to rely on him a bit more. He wanted Moyu to seek him for help or whenever she felt down. However, at this rate, it seemed like the empress wouldn't look for him unless the little buns were involved.
The moment Tang Moyu pointed the gun at her brother-in-law, Song Fengyan and He Lianchen arrived just in time with his mother's people to seize the remaining of Han Shaohui's subordinates. Once they were done, he and Gu Yuyao went outside, leaving the twins with their nursemaids and Auntie Lu. Even Tang Wanyu chose to remain inside for safety reasons.
With the help of the authorities, Song Fengyan sent Han Shaohui's men to the police station where there would be lawsuits waiting for them for trespassing and attempting to hurt Tang Moyu and her children. When they tried to bring Han Shaohui with them, Tang Moyu stopped them.
"Leave him. Brother-in-law and I have an unfinished business here." She told them.
Looking closely at Han Shaohui's pathetic state, it was obvious that Tang Moyu didn't go easy on him. Blood trickled down his nose, smearing his white shirt with his own blood as he knelt down, feeling dizzy from the empress's assault.
"Sister Yaoyao, do you mind getting me the document you brought earlier?" Tang Moyu asked as she wiped away the blood on her knuckles using the handkerchief Feng Tianyi had casually passed to her.
"Please also bring my Wan Jie here with you. I need to settle something very important." She said, her cold eyes piercing at her brother-in-law's pathetic state.
Gu Yuyao finally realised what kind of document she had just delivered to the empress. She hurriedly went back to the guest house to retrieve it and brought Tang Wanyu with her, as Tang Moyu had requested of her.
Tang Wanyu covered her mouth in shock upon seeing her husband, covered in bruises and blood. She initially thought that her little sister would be in danger and at a disadvantage because of her. She had never thought that it would be her husband who would lose face today and would end up thouroughly beaten.
"I said it before. You came just in time, Han Shaohui." Tang Moyu said as she received the document from her friend, opened the envelope, and read the content and the detailed clauses in the divorce papers she had asked from He Lianchen.
Pleased with the clauses, clearly favoring her elder sister, Tang Moyu then looked down at her brother-in-law.
"Since you are already here, sign the divorce papers and give my sister's freedom back to her." She demanded from him.
Han Shaohui spat the blood that had accumulated in his mouth before glaring back at the empress.
"You want us to divorce? No fucking way! Don't you know that by forcing me to divorce your sister, your Tang family would be at a disadvantage?" He smiled evilly at Tang Moyu.
Tang Moyu stared at him for a moment before bursting in laughter, catching everyone off guard. How could she find entertainment in a situation like this? They wondered.
"Do you think that, I, Tang Moyu, actually care about that backstabbing family? Don't you know I would rather buy a ticket for a premiere seat to watch them burn in hell?" She said filled with sarcasm.
She owed the Tang family nothing! If the whole family was ever destroyed, she would only protect her siblings' welfare and wouldn't care about the rest of the family who had turned their back on her.
Han Shaohui was shocked upon hearing the empress's statement, disregarding her own family. He didn't expect that Tang Moyu was hostile with the family she came from. He was too shocked to notice the empress walking towards him.
"You are wasting my time. The sun is about to set and I don't want to be associated with a scum like you anymore." Tang Moyu said in annoyance. "I broke your left wrist because I know you are right-handed. Now sign these damned divorce papers so I can get you out of my sight this instance!"
