Chapter 220 My Wifey Is So Cool! 2
But signing the divorce papers would also mean putting his family in danger. His family would lose its connection with the Tangs, who'd invested a lot of money in their latest project.
They were trying to secure a partnership with an american company by being the processing division responsible for turning raw diamonds from a rough stone into a faceted gem. Cutting diamond requires specialized knowledge, tools, equipment, and techniques because of its extreme difficulty and the Han family had been in the business of mining and jewelries for generations. If they were successful in securing this partnership with one of the largest diamond companies in the world, they would earn millions—no, possibly billions of dollars from it.
"Are you going to sign it or do I need to break more bones in your body?" Tang Moyu's cold words brought him back to reality.
Han Shaohui had goosebumps under her cold gaze. It didn't look like she was joking regarding her threats. She had already broken his nose, busted his right knee and broke his left hand, rendering it useless. At this rate, he might end up being useless for good, if Tang Moyu broke any other part of his body.
"Wan Jie, please sign the divorce papers. Don't worry about this piece of shit you call your husband. After today, I will make sure he would never be able to lay his hand even on a single strand of your hair." The empress assured her sister.
Tang Wanyu wouldn't need to worry about this bastard after she gained back her freedom. Han Shaohui and his family would be too occupied to waste time on her as they would be facing a much bigger problem than this.
With the devil's help, let's see if they would be able to keep up their arrogance and daringness to bully her Wan Jie.
He Lianchen and Song Fengyan forced the beaten Han Shaohui up and pushed him to a chair Li Meili had brought from the porch. She also took the foldable table, not wasting any time to give her best friend a hand.
Han Shaohui grunted in pain as he scanned the divorce papers presented to him. He was being cornered. He didn't have any chance to escape even if he wanted to. As he read the papers, his eyes widened at the clauses that no doubt were in favor of his wife.
"You want me to give her three-fourth of my assets? Are you fucking kidding me, Tang Moyu?" He roared at the empress, the vein in his head ready to burst at any given moment.
Feng Tianyi, along with He Lianchen and Song Fengyan were stunned by Tang Moyu's words. They now truly understood that the empress was a force to be reckoned with. Under her cold and impassive mask lay a dangerous, vicious woman who wouldn't mind getting her hands dirty to get what she wanted.
"If you don't sign these damned papers right now, I assure you that you'll be the next person who would be bound to a wheelchair for the rest of your life!" The empress added.
Looking at Tang Moyu was like looking at a tigress, ready to pounce and slit his throat open. With trembling hands, Han Shaohui signed the divorce papers, effectively releasing Tang Wangyu from him.
Once he was done, Gu Yuyao immediately snatched the papers from him and passed it to her fiance who gave it a quick look, making sure that both parties had signed the papers.
"Is it good?" She asked He Lianchen, to which the latter responded with a nod.
He Lianchen thought that Tang Moyu's way in dealing with her enemies was just as devious and unforgiving as the devil himself. They were truly a match made in… hell.
Going as far as forcing Han Shaohui to give up three-fourth of his assets to Tang Wanyu, Tang Moyu was one of the few people He Lianchen had met who was daring enough to go as far as she did. He was starting to think that no wonder Feng Tianyi and the empress got along well, it's because they both had the same brain waves and understood each other.
"I'll file this as soon as possible." He told Tang Moyu, who gave him a curt nod before letting her older sister hug her, burying her face on her shoulder.
Tang Wanyu started to bawl in her arms again, still in disbelief that finally, after years of suffering she was finally free from her abusive husband and toxic in-laws. This was all possible because of Moyu, who despite all the things she couldn't do in the past, was still willing to extend a hand to help her when no one else did.
"Tang Moyu! You will pay for this! My Han family will not let you go unscathed after this!" Han Shaohui repeatedly cursed the empress to no end.
The empress scoffed at the statement and held her sister against her chest protectively.
"You think I care about what your dumb family think? If there's someone who needs to be wary, it wouldn't be me, Han Shaohui."
"You bitch!" He roared back.
Feng Tianyi finally snapped at him and defended his woman in return.
"Really? Then let's see if your Han family would be able to get through me." His eyes narrowing, hands itching to punch Han Shaohui's face, even if it had already been beaten badly by his woman.
