Chapter 315 - Saving Luo Qingqing (1)
The next morning, Tang Moyu woke up and felt a little odd. She'd woken up from a deep slumber to the sound of her alarm. As she usually did, she g.r.o.a.n.e.d and snuggled deeper into the pillows, rolling on her side.
She jerked and sat up when she felt another person sleeping next to her. Disoriented, Tang Moyu looked around the room she was in. It took her a few seconds to realize that she was n.a.k.e.d beneath the sheets and Feng Tianyi was still sleeping next to her.
She covered her face with both hands as the memories from last night flooded back into her mind. Blushing, she pulled the robe on the chair next to the bed and ran towards the bathroom in a hurry.
When she came back, she was already dressed, ready to start her day. She wore a white blouse and high waist beige pencil skirt paired with a pair of high heels.
"Morning." She muttered when she saw Feng Tianyi, who was finally awake, still sitting on the bed with his delicious c.h.e.s.t exposed for her eyes to feast on. When he rubbed his face with a hand, Tang Moyu blushed as she thought of how that same face had buried itself right on her bosom last night.
"I'm going to call room service for breakfast." She told him, avoiding to look at him at the moment.
"Morning, princess." Feng Tianyi said. "Don't bother to call. I can make a quick breakfast for us and Miss Cheng." He added and got to his feet to go to the bathroom.
"You don't have to." Why was he insisting to do it anyway?
"Yes, I do. I have nothing to do anyway. You need to eat." He replied before disappearing into the bathroom.
The devil was really sweet, but there was no doubt that he could forget being a gentleman when it comes to bed. Once he was done, he found Tang Moyu at the dining area, reading today's newspaper while waiting for him and Cheng Ning to arrive.
"Do you want anything specific for breakfast?" Feng Tianyi asked.
"Anything that is edible. Cheng Ning will be joining us for breakfast."
It didn't take too long as Cheng Ning knocked on her door a few minutes later and was shocked to see Feng Tianyi working in the kitchen. She gave her boss a questioning look, but Tang Moyu only shrugged in response.
It was the last day for Tang Moyu's stay in Hangzhou. And while she hadn't expected Feng Tianyi's arrival, she would be lying if she said she wasn't moved by his effort to see her. Even Cheng Ning was surprised to see him that morning as they started to eat their breakfast.
"Mr. Qin, I didn't know you would be here." Her young assistant said as she placed Feng Tianyi's cup of coffee on the table.
"Ah, I wanted to surprise Moyu, so I came here without informing anyone. I hope I wasn't disturbing your work, Miss Cheng. I'm sorry if I did."
Cheng Ning's face fl.u.s.tered and she waved a hand. She slightly felt uncomfortable, feeling like a third wheel between the two.
"Oh no. It's no bother, Mr. Qin."
Across Feng Tianyi, Tang Moyu seemed to have a permanent blush on her face. Remembering what they had done last night, the empress sat uncomfortably on her seat. No… they haven't done the deed, but he made her experience something she'd never tried before.
Feng Tianyi raised a brow at her, as if he knew what she was thinking about. The empress shot him a glare, itching to slap the grin on his face. She didn't want to give Cheng Ning ideas.
Once done, Feng Tianyi placed the dirty dishes in the sink while Tang Moyu and Cheng Ning prepared to leave.
"I'll come with you." Feng Tianyi said, not wanting to be left behind alone to wait for her return again. Not after what they'd done last night.
"We'll be back before three in the afternoon. After that we can fly to Beijing together. You rest here for a while, while we finish some work here." Tang Moyu said, ready to leave her suite with her assistant.
"No. Don't leave me here." He grumbled. He didn't want to be left alone by the empress.
Tang Moyu narrowed her eyes on him. He looked like a kid begging his mother not to leave him on the first day of school. She sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose.
"It's only a few hours, Tianyi. We'll be back before you know it." She told him.
"Let me come with you. I promise I won't cause you any problem. I just wanna see what you do on a daily basis when you aren't at home." He insisted.
Tang Moyu and Cheng Ning shared a look.
"Well, I don't mind if he comes with us, Miss Moyu. Your schedule isn't as packed as it usual is, so I don't think there will be any issues." Cheng Ning told her boss.
"Please, Moyu? Give me a few minutes. They shouldn't be able to recognize me if I come as your extra assistant, right?" Feng Tianyi was glad that Cheng Ning was on his side. This should be able to convince the empress to allow him to tag along with them.
"No, Tianyi. You'll stay here until Cheng Ning and I are done. I know you can walk a little more than you used to, but we wouldn't just be sitting pretty throughout the day. Please, Tianyi. Stay." Tang Moyu had made up her mind.
It was enough for her to see him come here for her, but she wouldn't jeopardize his recovery.
Cheng Ning could only look between the two and wondered if she should leave them for a while. She didn't want to get involved in their argument.
"Uhh… I'll wait for you outside, Miss Moyu." She said and didn't wait for her boss's reply. She hurried out of the suite, saving herself from the awkward situation she was in.
