Chapter 491 - I Want Another Bun, Moyu (1)
While their little buns were out with her brother and Li Meili, Tang Moyu decided to do some work for Xiao Xing in her study for two hours, intending to finish it before their guest arrived. Aware that her husband was taking this chance to catch up with his sleep, Tang Moyu decided to leave him be for a while.
It wasn't until lunch time when the empress finally finished her tasks and was reminded by Auntie Lu that their lunch was ready. Removing her spectacles from her face, Tang Moyu rubbed her temple. It seemed like the sooner she could start working at Xiao Xing, the better the operations would be.
No wonder her husband had been doing a lot of overtime work when she was still in Tang Enterprise. Had she known how hard it had been for her husband, she would have left Tang Enterprise sooner.
Xiao Xing only started because she wanted to teach the Han family and her sister's husband a good lesson. Tang Moyu didn't really think about how lucrative this business could be in the future.
How did he even manage to balance his work at Xiao Xing and looking after their twins? Tang Moyu had no idea how he did it and it only made her feel guilty that she forced Feng Tianyi to oversee the company she started on impulse.
Tang Moyu rose to her feet and decided that she had enough work for the day. Since Feng Tianyi was taking a nap, Auntie Lu and the other maids would be preparing their meal for today.
She sauntered towards the master bedroom to see if her husband was awake for lunch, but Tang Moyu found him still asleep on the bed, his eyes closed, his breathing even. Feng Tianyi didn't even bother to stir when she knocked on the door.
For Tang Moyu, who had never shared her bed with anyone until she dated him, there were still times when she felt uneasy waking up in the morning with her husband by her side. She supposed that it would take some time before she got used to it.
She took a seat on the bed and pondered how her life suddenly took a turn when her little buns met this man not long after they had just arrived in Shenzhen. Had it not been for her twins' intervention, Tang Moyu didn't think that she and Feng Tianyi would be able to meet again in this lifetime.
She scoffed inwardly. It seemed fate liked to mess with her life. From the moment she was conceived, up to the time she had her twins, none of them happened without any drama in it. However, she had long decided that she would place her fate in her own hands.
As her gaze roamed over her sleeping husband, Tang Moyu concluded that she would have laughed if anyone had told her before moving back to Shenzhen that she would end up marrying her ex-fiance's older brother.
"Like what you see?" Tang Moyu suddenly heard her husband's teasing voice. She hadn't noticed that the moment she sat on the bed, Feng Tianyi had woken up from his peaceful slumber.
Feng Tianyi looked at his wife with amus.e.m.e.nt before he decided that he had enough staring, pulling her on top of him. Tang Moyu splayed on top of his body, her skirt fanning out as she straddled him.
"What are you doing? If you're already awake, get up. It's time for lunch." Tang Moyu frowned at him, her long hair shielding them from the bright sunlight from outside.
"But darling, I want something else to eat." His devilish grin widened as he rolled both of them on the bed, effectively trapping the empress beneath him.
"Feng Tianyi." Tang Moyu tried to resist his hold, but the devil was one step ahead of her, pinning her wrist above her head, making her c.h.e.s.t strain under her white blouse. She looked so tempting, so seductive in the devil's eyes.
"Eh? The twins are not here. Of course we should take advantage of their absence, no? Moyu, we should work hard to give them another sibling. I want another bun, Moyu."
Another sibling? What another bun? Tang Moyu didn't think this was the right time to have another child. She didn't want to get pregnant too soon and wanted to enjoy her married life with him without worrying about another child.
"The sun is still up. Plus, are you forgetting that we are expecting a guest today?" The empress countered. She tried to move her legs, but the devil had already positioned himself between her t.h.i.g.hs, forbidding her to escape from his hold.
"This won't take too long. I'm aware that I've been failing my husband duties lately, Moyu," was Feng Tianyi's defense before his lips descended on hers, effectively silencing her arguments, replacing it with her low m.o.a.ns.
Tang Moyu felt that something had changed about their love making ever since they got married. Perhaps it was because their trust and understanding towards each other was better than when they were just dating.
There was a range of kisses that Tang Moyu received from Feng Tianyi in the time that they have been together. It started with a soft affection, kissing her with such gentleness that made her think that he was afraid to break her.
Then there were those kisses she could label as hunger. When she received this kind of kiss, she knew that he'd been restless. He kissed her like she was the source and the cure of the scorching heat that he was feeling for her.
As her thumbs moved to brush his cheeks, she noted that his eyes were so tired these past couple of days. The pang of guilt strung her heart, knowing she could have lessen his burden. She only wished that she had noticed it sooner.
