Chapter 100: Destroy Them for Messing With Her
"God, you're the devil incarnate. Has anyone ever told you that?" Mo Yize hissed.
"Yup. I don't mind proving myself, either." She gave a toothy smile and took their basket to the counter. She produced an employee card and gave it to the cashier.
"She'll pay for it," Qian Meng claimed, pointing at Mo Yize. "But please use my employee discount."
Mo Yize cursed the hell out of Qian Meng but swiped her card, nonetheless.
"Evil bitch," she said as they hopped into a taxi.
"Why are we taking a taxi?" she asked.
"I had a few drinks this evening and you can't drive for shit, so…"
Mo Yize rolled her eyes. "You do realize we could have hopped into my brother's car, right?" she inquired.
"Your brother's car?" Qian Meng jumped with fright.
"He has been following us since we left the hotel," she claimed.
And this proved that Yun Qian Meng had no alarm bells in her head. Mo Qingchen had followed them around and she hadn't even realized that.
"Since when did you know?" Qian Meng asked in a panic.
"Since the beginning. Why? Do you think he will stop us?" she asked. "I could call him and tell him you have a plan…"
"He'll probably call me reckless," Qian Meng waved it off. She could imagine his disapproval at her plan.
"He would sooner bankrupt the guy, but I think he would want to punish the guy who broke his favorite little sister's heart."
"You're very confident, aren't you?" Qian Meng taunted. "Bai Ye Qing doesn't have money to exploit. Mo Qingchen couldn't even bankrupt him if he wanted."
She chuckled. And he couldn't bankrupt the Bai's company because she was eyeing it. He would probably wait until she had made her move to decide how he would react.
The patient but annoying man.
'Stop it, Yun Qian Meng!' she screamed at herself.
"I know my brother better than you," Yize claimed.
"I doubt that," Qian Meng whispered. "Sir, do you mind putting the protective shield up?" Qian Meng requested the driver.
She looked out the window and saw that it was tinted.
The driver looked at her with a weird expression and then towards the shopping bags in her hand. "Sure," he said quickly before raising the privacy screen.
"Get changing," Qian Meng said, taking out a pair of clothes and throwing them at Yize.
"In front of you?" she asked, disgusted.
"I've seen worse," Qian Meng bit back. "And you don't have anything I haven't seen before."
"Mine looks better, that's the difference."
Qian Meng glared. "Change."
She shimmied off her pajamas and quickly put on her clothes.
"You've done this before!" Yize accused. "Did you turn into a slut since we met?" She was still struggling with her clothes.
"I rarely have time to change my clothes. I keep a couple of sets ready in case I need to change and do it in the car. It saves time."
"Business people are so weird."
"Well…" she trailed off. She was done. Three minutes. Not bad. She looked over at Yize and she was still struggling.
They were almost at the only sports store in the twenty-mile radius that was open at that hour.
"Please stay here!" Qian Meng pleaded.
"You'll pay extra, right?" the driver asked.
"For your cooperation? Yes!" Qian Meng was suddenly in a wonderful mood. Her frustration and anger were simmering under the surface and excitement was keeping her moving. She knew that she would explode soon and that she could let go of her inhibitions, so she remained sweet and thoughtful until it happened.
She sprinted into the store with Mo Yize on tow.
Baseball bats. They needed baseball bats and goggles to protect their eyes.
"What are we looking for?" Yize asked.
"Aluminium baseball bats," she sang. She picked up the two most expensive ones and took them to the counter. "They are lighter and ideal for beginners." She smirked.
"You've given this a lot of thought," Yize said reluctantly.
"Just focus on how good it will feel…" Qian Meng told her.
They were back in the car in a jiffy and in the next, they were inside the ungated complex where Bai Ye Qing lived.
"You do know which car is his, right?" Yize whispered as they walked in front of their house.
"Of course, I have the license plate number," she said. She looked around and found a solid location to prop up her extra things. She sprinted towards it and set up the little tripod she had bought. The phone was put inside it and the video recording started.
"Ready?" she shouted, calling out to Mo Yize who was standing right in front of the car.
"Are you taking a video?" she screeched.
Qian Meng grinned. "Of course, I am."
Yize shrugged and turned to the car. Hatred flashed in her eyes as she replayed the photographs she had seen. Her mind went to each and everyone where his skin was shown against another woman and she took the first swing.
Fuck if she didn't enjoy it.
She felt liberated.
Qian Meng watched in rapt fascination as Mo Yize screamed her lungs out.
She felt a pang of jealousy in her heart and sucked in a deep breath.
Even an army wouldn't hold her back.
She wouldn't let them.
She was done.
Let them come at her. She would destroy them for messing with her. She promised that.
She broke into a sprint, bat over her shoulder. She took the first swing at the expensive side mirror and felt her chest become lighter.
In the next moment, she was kicking the shit out of it, making sure the dang thing flew out of the socket and fell to the floor.
It had been no longer than a few minutes, but the alarms blared and the car was shattered.
Mo Yize was jumping on the top of the car, denting the top. She had broken into a small dance as Qian Meng took precise stabs at the windshield.
