The Beast Deity just chuckled and stopped his role-playing. He said with the elegant air as befitting a deity, “In my eyes, you are completely unworthy of my daughter. But…… because Mengmeng likes you, I will reluctantly accept you. If I ever find out that my precious daughter has suffered the slightest bit because of you…… ha, I will let you experience the true rage of a Beast Deity.”


  “Yes.” Elvis lowered his head respectfully and humbly. It was not just because he was a powerful deity but also because he was Gu Mengmeng’s father.

  The Beast Deity tugged at Gu Mengmeng’s little hand. “Come, my precious daughter. Watch some television with your father.”


  With that the Beast Deity pulled Gu Mengmeng onto the two-seater bench. With nowhere else to sit, Elvis had no choice but to settle down on the floor beside Gu Mengmeng. His eyes were full of deep affection. Apart from Gu Mengmeng, he could see nothing else.

  The Beast Deity paid no heed to Elvis at all. He just waved and a screen-like object appeared before the three of them.

  The scene was set at the amusement park, where the previous episode ended.

  The first ride was called Wave After Wave. A clam with two rows of double-seats would undulate up and down as if drifting across the ocean, while bubbles blew from the sides. Accompanied by romantic tunes, it was a relaxing and intimate ride.

  As Snakel’s and Gu Mengmeng’s friends had come over in haste, none of them brought their own partners. Only Snakel and Gu Mengmeng were a couple and they sat together. The rest of the group saw the girls sitting on one row and the guys on the other. But……

  In the past, Gu Mengmeng always sat with Bai Lan but now she had to accompany Snakel. As a result, Bai Lan was all alone.

  She sat by herself and fastened her seatbelt. She then heard one of her female roommates shouting at the staff. “Miss, no need to play music later. We brought our own background music.”


  The staff cheerfully agreed. After all, they had rented the entire park today and were the boss. They could do whatever they wanted.

  Before Gu Mengmeng had time to react, Bai Lan’s face darkened as she hollered. “Ning Qi Zhu, must you be so mean?! Gu Mengmeng, you shut up. You are not to sing, do you hear me!”


  Gu Mengmeng had been rather perplexed, but on hearing Bai Lan’s reprimands, she instantly understood what background music they were referring to. This caused her to laugh out loud.

  Snakel also knew about the background music they were referring to but kept silent. He just looked happily at Gu Mengmeng’s radiant smile.

  The clam started moving and bubbles blew in from all corners. It made for a lovely scene.

  “One, two, three!” Ning Qi Zhu counted to three and all the girls sang in unison. “We are not the same. In the entire dorm, only you don’t have a partner……”


  The singing was accompanied by peals of laughter, which made Gu Mengmeng’s face glow. Snakel’s eyes grew tender at the sight.

  After alighting from the ride, Bai Lan pointed at Gu Mengmeng grievously. “Girl, even you have betrayed me!”


  Gu Mengmeng hid behind Snakel as she laughed gleefully. Actually, for more than half a year, both she and Bai Lan had been the target of that song. Mmm, so “bullying” someone could be rather fun too.

  Bai Lan gritted her teeth. She hooked one arm around Zhan Jin Cheng’s neck. “Boy, do you have a girlfriend?”
