Gregory’s lips curled up to form a bitter smile but he still nodded and said, “Alright.”


  While on his back, Gu Mengmeng could not see clearly Gregory’s expression and only heard him reminding, “I am transforming now, you have to hold on tight.”


  “Yeah!” Gu Mengmeng was completely in an excited state and even her response was filled with energy and eagerness.

  Gregory transformed into his beast form in midair. Gu Mengmeng could not hold onto his broad shoulders, and slid down to his shoulder blade, only able to grab onto his feathers just like in the past to secure herself.

  Her vision was obstructed and she could not see the surroundings but she could feel Gregory flying at a steep angle.

  She did not know whether it was because she was becoming closer to Love of the Sky or because she had just experienced the excitement of flying, she had a vivid image in her mind and felt really stimulated, as though she was sitting on a rollercoaster.

  Her scream made Gregory’s adrenaline level rise. Usually, it would take much effort to ascend the height but he actually flew up in one shot.

  When they landed safely, Gregory heaved a sigh of relief.

  He transformed into human form and placed Gu Mengmeng down.

  Gu Mengmeng looked around curiously and realised that this was the peak that looked like a snake from a distance.

  Both sides had a huge cave that seemed like the eyes of a snake. Gu Mengmeng moved closer to one of the cave and felt that it was pitch dark.

  There was obviously light outside but it could not enter the cave. A cold air slowly came from the entrance of the cave. Gu Mengmeng narrowed her eyes and could only make out something frozen in ice that was found deep in the cave.

  “What is inside that?” Gu Mengmeng asked Gregory.

  Gregory smiled without responding. He dragged Gu Mengmeng to one side and said, “Love of the Sky is not in the cave, you should not go closer to it.”


  “I am just looking……” Gu Mengmeng was filled with curiosity. Since they were up here, she should might as well explore.

  “Look at it after obtaining Love of the Sky. I’m worried that it would be troublesome if the wind returns later.” Gregory was still holding Gu Mengmeng back and not allowing her to move closer.

  Gu Mengmeng did not insist and thought that it was more urgent for her to settle the important matters.

  So Gu Mengmeng followed Gregory to walk towards the center.

  In the center of both snake eyes, there was a dent in the ground. The temporary snow accumulated had melted and formed clear water in it.

  Gu Mengmeng reached out her hands to touch it but was stopped by Gregory. He shook his head and said, “The water formed from the 1000 year ice may cause you to lose your hand if you touch it.”


  “Then……” Gu Mengmeng was confused.

  “Leave it to me.” After he said that, Gregory pulled Gu Mengmeng behind him, then transformed his hands to wings. With a strong sweep, the water was instantly blown out of the pit and instantly formed ice when in contact with the ground, forming a thin layer of glistening ice flowers.

  Gu Mengmeng leaned on Gregory’s shoulders as she watched the water droplets blown away like fireworks blooming. Just like a child filled with curiosity, she smiled uncontrollably, “You’re really capable, brother.”


  Gregory smiled dotingly and helplessly and said, “Love of the Sky is there, you just have to take it.”


  Gu Mengmeng moved out from behind Gregory and extended her body towards the pit. Indeed, she saw a pair of transparent wings that looked like ice sculptures laying flat. It was huge and seemed to be twice as big as Gregory’s wings.

  This size…… her father wanted her to carry it around? How?
