“Alright.” Sandy did not even ask about it and was already filled with excitement.

  Gu Mengmeng stretched her shoulders and with a sudden exert of strength, a pair of transparent wings that look like ice opened up from her back, then under Sandy’s surprised eyes, she flew into the sky and circled around while the sun set.

  With the wind blowing, Gu Mengmeng’s hair flew along with it and the feathers on her right year swayed with the wind.

  Gu Mengmeng was about to speak but Lea said before her, “Seems like you are really well loved, so much so that…… you are fearless.”


  Arnold did not seem to understand and only looked blankly at Lea.

  Lea swayed his tail, stood up and walked in front of Arnold, saying, “As your senior for being a beast pet, let me advise you…… don’t think that you will be safe because you have a title. There will always be a limit to how much she can dote on you. If you offend her, a female can be even more heartless than a male in changing their liking.”


  “I would care to hear more,” Arnold still did not understand what Lea meant and only saw that Sandy’s expression was really unpleasant. But he did not understand what he had done wrong and could only display a willing attitude to listen.

  Lea turned his body sideways and swayed his tail. He laughed, “As a beast pet, the least you should know is to watch a person’s expression closely, right?   Arnold’s heart dropped. It was not because he had not realised that Bode and the rest did not speak when Gu Mengmeng and Sandy were talking but it was exactly the opposite – he had realised so he intentionally interjected.

  He thought that since Lea was the Snow Fox Clan’s Ninth Highness and was accompanying Gu Mengmeng to visit Sandy while the Wolf King was not around, it was a great chance to take the seven wolves down a notch. So long as he could interject, even if Gu Mengmeng replied in a perfunctory manner, it would cause his family status to rise. Moreover, if Gu Mengmeng replied, it proved that Gu Mengmeng was considering about Lea and was still treating the Snow Fox Clan kindly. Then, Sandy would not be bothered and the matter about becoming partners would naturally happen.

  Looking at Sandy again, her face was really displeased and Arnold realised that he had messed up.

  “Sorry, I have been too rude. I was just…… wanted to congratulate Ninth Highness.”


  “Congratulate?” Lea gave a mocking laugh and shook his head, saying, “You don’t know my Mengmeng and Fox King’s relationship? Or do you not know about the feud between Fox King and me? You are qualified to congratulate me? Huh?”
